Amazing stay near Munich

We loved our stay at Veronika’s apartment! It is a working farm and we loved the charm of the cows and barn cats. It was very clean and the perfect size for our family of 5. It was well-equipped to allow us to cook small meals. The water got nicely hot for showers and having a washer was very convenient! We took the train into Munich (45-60min), as the train station (S7) is only a few minutes away. Doing it again, we would have driven a little farther to the more reliable train home (S3), as both nights back from Munich, the train got canceled several times. We will definitely look to stay again the next time we are in Munich!

Wir haben uns in der Ferienwohnung bei Familie Eichler wirklich wohl gefühlt. Es war alles da was man braucht! Haben uns vorab über alles auf der Hompage des Bio-Bauernhofes informiert und uns auf die Zeit dort gefreut. Unser Wermutstropfen war, dass wir erst bei Anreise unseres "Bauernhofurlaubes" mitgeteilt bekommen haben, dass wir aus Präventivgründen keinerlei Kontakt zu den Tieren haben dürfen, wofür wir vollstes Verständnis haben/hatten, jedoch mit zwei Kindern im Gepäck wäre eine vorab Information zwecks Umplanung/Enttäuschung von Vorteil gewesen, da der Hof doch ziemlich abseits liegt. Wir haben uns deshalb lediglich immer kurzzeitig in der Ferienwohnung aufgehalten. Hatten Glück mit dem Wetter und letztlich einen schönen Kurzurlaub mit einigen Tagesausflügen.

So wie es sein muss

Richtig schön. Wir haben uns hier nur für den Abend aufgehalten und geschlafen. Ferien auf dem Bauernhof. Zur Zeit kann man leider nicht sehr nah ran, da es wieder Bestimmungen zur Hygiene gibt. Aber das ist normal und gut für die Tiere. Sehr nette Vermieter und Mieter.

Alles war gut . Netter Empfang. Die Heizung und der Kühlschrank macht ein wenig Geräusche, aber das ist manchmal halt so. Wäre noch schon gewesen wenn am Anreisetag schon mal die Heizung angestellt wurde um einen warmen Empfang zu haben. .

Unterkunft zum Schlafen

Unter Ferien auf einem Bauernhof hatten wir uns etwas anderes vorgestellt. Bei der Ankunft wurden wir darauf hingewiesen, dass sich unsere Kinder (9 u.11) nicht ohne Aufsicht auf dem Hof aufhalten dürfen. Dies sei wegen der Landmaschinen zu gefährlich. Den Kindern zu verbieten über den Hof zu laufen, während die der Gastfamilie mit dem Trettraktor herumfahren ist schwierig. Hinzu kommt, dass aufgrund der Witterung ohnehin nicht einmal ein Traktor an uns vorbei gefahren ist. Zahlreiche Verbotsschilder und Absperrketten haben nicht gerade zur Wohlfühlatmosphäre beigetragen. So waren wir von früh bis spät unterwegs, um bloß nicht zu viel Zeit in der kleinen Wohnung verbringen zu müssen. Die Ausstattung der Unterkunft war gut. Es gab eine kleine Spül- und Waschmaschine. Ein Trocknen der Wäsche hingegen war kaum möglich. Küche, Toilette und Boden waren bei der Ankunft sauber; allerdings gab es unglaublich viele Spinnweben. Die Ferienwohnung ist für Erwachsene, die sowohl Zeit in den Bergen, als auch in München verbringen wollen, gut geeignet. Als Familie mit Kindern vom Land (Tierärztin mit eigener Landwirtschaft) fühlt man sich eher wie eingesperrt und nicht willkommen. Wir hatten uns einen Urlaub auf dem Bauernhof extra ausgesucht, um den Kindern (für die kurze Zeit der Ausflugsplanung, Spülen, Essen zubereiten, ...) ein wenig freie Bewegung zu ermöglichen.

Schöne Auszeit

Wir hatten 4 erholsame Tage und unsere große Tochter hat es genossen jeden Morgen die Kühe vom Ausgang der Ferienwohnung aus zu begrüßen und zu beobachten. Quando non ci sono difficoltà da affrontare tutti gli host sono bravi. Partiti da Bologna abbiamo trovato l'autostrada completamente bloccata per incidenti. Abbiamo subito avvertito Veronika della situazione la quale ci ha risposto che il ceck in si poteva fare non oltre le 8 pm. Avrebbe potuto lasciarci le chiavi da qualche parte e fare un video con le istruzioni per entrare, come tanti host fanno in questi casi. Invece se l'è cavata con un SORRY! Arrivati a Monaco alle 10 pm abbiamo trovato una stanza per la notte non proprio economica. Per fortuna!!! Visto che la città era piena di turisti. La peggiore accoglienza che ci sia mai capitata! Il giorno dopo neanche una parola al riguardo! Complimenti! Un'ospitalità indimenticabile.
