Charming town well situated--some difficulty at first

Bad Reichenhall is so charming---a smallish town with most of the amenities you need. It is very wellness oriented, so there are spas, massage therapists, and physical therapists. We booked a place here with a desire to visit Salzburg--only 12 km away---and found this place so much more charming. Salzburg seemed very touristy --- overly focused on chain store shopping. We were greeted by Anett, the in town contact, who is very charming and welcoming. This owner does not have easy credit card payments set up, so we paid in cash---no problem, but we were a little nervous because we could not see our itinerary on HomeAway for this unit. Anett was very helpful in getting us situated. We had some issues with the wifi to start, got it resolved, only to find out that some restriction set up by the owner does not allow us to make wifi calls to the states. This was a big deal for us, as we had our son recently discharged from a 10 day stay in the hospital and were nervous about his recovery. We could not call home. The T Mobile store in town told us that we could not get a German data chip unless we had an EU passport. We normally travel with a hot spot (very convenient when we get lost in a new town or city by turning it on and using Google maps! Also, if the wifi is not good at a place we are staying, it is still an alternative) and were very dismayed at this new 'law' that would not allow travelers to use wifi hot spots. Well, with most things new, it turns out there was a misinterpretation. We visited "Handy Lainer" in town and he was helpful, brilliant, and very welcoming and he got us fixed up just fine---but this was four days later. For any cellular needs, see him in his shop on Kaiserplatz in town. We would love to return to Bad Reichenhall! This unit is very clean and had all the amenities needed, with the exception of wifi that met our needs. There is a very nice covered parking spot close to the unit. The furniture is comfortable too with a pretty good TV. There is some traffic noise from a highway, but it is not too bad. In general, we would stay here again, but would be better prepared to meet our particular needs. Oh! And be sure to pack shopping bags---there is a charge at the grocery store for bags. We liked Edeka and Aldi, but shopped at Edeka more. Another bonus---it is close to the apartment and so is the Train station. All in all, a very nicely situated apartment is a very, very lovely town.

Urlaub in Bad Reichenhall

Wir haben uns in der Ferienwohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Sie ist sehr gemütlich und praktisch eingerichtet. Bäcker und Lebensmittelgeschäft zu Fuß zu erreichen, die Innenstadt in etwa 10 Fußminuten. Gute Autobahnanbindung. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge ins Berchtesgadener Land, nach Salzburg, zum Chiemsee. In Bad Reichenhall selbst ist die Alte Saline sehenswert.

Sehr empfehlenswert

Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut ausgestattet und entspricht den Bildern und der Beschreibung. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter verlief reibungslos und auf unsere Anfragen und Wünsche wurde zu unserer Zufriedenheit reagiert. Aufgrund der zwei Schlafzimmer und dem guten WLAN hat sich auch unsere 18-jährige Tochter sehr wohl gefühlt. Als kleines Manko könnte man erwähnen, dass sie etwas nah an einer stark befahrenen Bundesstraße liegt, was aber, wider Erwarten, für uns OK war. Eine Mikrowelle würde bestimmt eine tolle Ergänzung sein. Gerne wieder.

fünf von fünf Sternen. Anregung für den Vermieter: 1 Handtuch und ein Badetuch fand ich etwas wenig. wäre gut wenn man da eins nachnehmen könnte. Wenn zwei Personen eine Wohnung mit zwei Schlafzimmern nehmen hat das einen Grund. (Schnarch). Hier wurde das fehlende Betttuch für das Einzelbett im zweiten Zimmer schmerzlich vermisst. Das Doppelbetttuch aus dem bezogenen Doppelbett konnte ja schlecht für beide Betten genutzt werden.

Entspannte Tage in Bad Reichenhall

Der Aufenthalt in der Fewo und dem Ort waren sehr gut. Der Ort ist sehr hübsch und fussläufig zu erreichen, die Gastkarte ermöglicht Ausflügen nach Salzburg und andere Orte. Die Wohnung bot alles, was man für einen runden Urlaub braucht, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Nähe zu Kurpark und Ortsmitte, kann man nur weiterempfehlen.

Eine tolle Unterkunft in einer wunderschönen Gegend

Alles war super, wir haben den Aufenthalt in den wunderschönen Bergen sehr genossen! Die Matratzen hätten für unsere alten Knochen etwas weicher sein können, aber das ist schon Jammern auf hohem Niveau. Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft, wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Vielen Dank.

Traumhafter Kurzurlaub

Wir haben einen Kurzurlaub mit zwei Erwachsenen und einem Kind (6 Jahre) in dieser Wohnung verbracht und haben uns dort zu jeden Zeit sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Ausstattung ist überdurchnittlich gut. Es hat uns an nichts (!) gefehlt. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war sehr angenehm. Fragen wurden schnell und präzise beantwortet. Eine Unterkunft, die wir zu 100 Prozent weiterempfehlen können.

Eine wundervolle Woche in einer super FeWo

Als zwei Erwachsene haben wir den Aufenthalt in dieser FeWo genossen. Die Wohnung ist wie die Fotos zeigen,die Ausstattung absolut vorbildlich, es fehlte uns an nichts. Zu Fuß waren wir unterwegs und das war gar kein Problem. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig und die Abende auf dem Balkon mit Blick auf den Predigtstuhl wunderbar. Wir können diese FeWo absolut empfehlen.
