Central Banff

Located at the heart of Banff, this hotel is within walking distance to most amenities. The rooms are cozy and clean although small in size. My only complaint is parking. Although they do have some space, it's not enough to accommodate during their peak or busy season. Other parking options are quite expensive. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

This hotel is in a great location, but the service was sub par. Seemed as though I was bothering them by asking where to park. The showers needed a good scrub, and they don’t have full size pillows, just 4 square ones to sleep with. There was also no water in the room, and when I went down to ask for them, she told me to fill the provided glasses with tap water from the bathroom - no water bottles is odd for hotels. Also be aware that the hot tubs up top are in a very “used” condition.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The property is located right downtown, a 2-5 min walk from everything. The front desk staff were lovely and incredibly helpful. Will be back!

My only feedback would be to have a system so that guests don’t monopolize the hot tub. We noticed some guests were there on back-to-back nights. Also, the way to get to the hot tub isn’t the most private as you have to pass a lounge where people are socializing, which is a little strange.

Usually stay further out so this was a nice change to be right in town, walkable to everything. The hotel is a bit of maze to get to rooms and rooms are small but comfortable.

Terrible service. No hot water and heat wasn't working as well. When i brought that up to the staff on my way out after a 1 night stay, she said best she could do was offer free parking. There are many hotels around, book elsewhere 100%

On arrival the lady at the desk was not particularly welcoming. We then got into the room to find an interconnecting door to the room next door. I walked straight into next doors room not realising it wasn’t part of ours as they were in the bathroom, as they had their side open. I was told by the woman on front desk that this is standard in Canada and she was really quite rude, she tried to reassure me they couldn’t get into ours, but I hardly slept due to this and really noisy air con that stops and starts throughout the night. Great location and Banff is stunning, but I’d probably stay elsewhere next time.
