An overall incredible hotel experience!! Big ol’ hot tubs with tons of space for several groups with insane mountain views! Coffee program was delightful. Special shout out to Dave who was an absolute pleasure checking us in and helping set our Banff trip off on such a positive note! Also, we read some reviews that made us concerned about the heating units in the room, but they really didn’t bother our group of 4 at all. We adjusted the angle of the fan and the noise didn’t wake us up at all. We all agreed we would love to come back to Banff and would 100% stay at the Otter Hotel again! Such a high end experience for a reasonable price!

I was disappointed with my stay at Otter. The heater in the room was very loud, which made it difficult to relax. Housekeeping appeared to be doing a minimal job, and the room did not feel properly cleaned. The reception staff seemed insincere and unfriendly. Basic amenities such as coffee and tea were not provided, and we were asked to use the sauna and pool in our boots because slippers were not available. The food selection was limited, with few healthy options. Additionally, the room did not feel secure because the door opens directly into the yard. Overall, the stay did not meet expectations for comfort, cleanliness, or safety.
