Great location, Lovely staff, recommend.

We booked a suite and requested high floor. Got floor 21 which had a wrap around balcony with great views of the river. The hotel is modern, room was spacious and had lots of plus points. Downside the water pressure was poor the shower, doable but you had no pressure for the rainfall shower and quite low for the hand held. There was a large bath which we didn’t use. No hot water in the kitchen, again a pressure issue. Room service was excellent and reasonably priced. Free bottled water every day and a few complimentary crisps and nibbles.The air conditioning was powerful but either full on fridge or nothing, Full on fridge was welcome as it was 37 degrees everyday we were there. Breakfast is good with plenty of choice and the pool was great, in the sun in the morning. Gym looked ok and limited beauty room run independently. The hotel has direct access to a departure store with a food supermarket in the basement, so everything you need to hand. Great location, close to Sathorn pier with boats to all major sights. Five mins to BTS sky train with links to MRT so easy to get anywhere. Street food market and lots of local cafes.Few bars within walking distance. Mandarin Hotel has great Jazz Bar (Bamboo Bar) very posh, so dress code is long trousers and smart. Pricy drinks. £13 gbp for gin and tonic but worth it to sit in a lovely bar with live musicians.. Would stay at Centre point again, Yes, traffic noise is loud even high up, bring ear plugs and accept Bangkok is crazy busy.

I would have given this hotel 5 Stars except they offered me a limousine service and I paid 3 times the price of a taxi and then they picked me up in an old Toyota Camry. When I asked the Hotel manager about it he told me that's a limousine. An old Camry in a limo really ? Integrity and honesty to me is important. Just be honest tell me upfront. I would have paid for a taxi.

I have stayed here many times. They recently did a complete renovation and the results are mostly very positive. This time we got a beautiful corner suite with a river view. Kitchen facilities are minimal. I wish there was still a cooktop and washing machine as before the renovation, but it's adequate. Having a good grocery store and several restaurants in the attached mall is a big plus. Breakfast buffet is better than most. Service is friendly and good.

An affordable option when visiting the heart of Bangkok. Not far from Chinatown and most of the main tourist attractions. Lots going on in the surrounding neighborhoods especially after dark. Felt very safe.

One of the friendliest hotels I have stayed in. A great price on Wotif and we were surprised to find our room was on the 25th floor with only 26 floors in total. Our wrap around balcony was superb and we had daily sunsets looking out over the Chao Praya River. Staff were next level and could not be faulted. We will definitely stay here again.
