Shower had hair all over when I arrived to my room. The room looked dark and faced a parking slot. The staff is lack of experience and they simply dont care-they couldnt find my drycleaning, sent me up to my room to look it up and got all confused as to where it is..congierce doesnt give you enough information about tours and the tour they arrange for you is almost like a scam..not enough sun beds around the pool area, they only find a spot for me when I asked to speak to the manager. Bangkok is full of nice hotels, do make the mistake I made and avoid this hotel please!

We live in Hua Hin and come to Bangkok often. Stayed at many hotels in the area over the years. 1st time Samala. They may try hard but unlike most of all 4-5 star hotels they still have musty, filthy, worn carpeting in the rooms. Who knows what’s embedded in those fibers that vacuums cannot sterilize. Ughh. This versus non-absorbent tiles whether a ceramic or a wood look.

I recently stayed at Samala Hotel, and my experience was unforgettable, especially given the unprecedented earthquake that occurred during my stay. The hotel’s response to the situation was outstanding. The staff acted quickly to ensure everyone’s safety, providing water, keeping guests calm, and offering clear instructions on what to do. Their professionalism and care during the crisis were truly impressive. On top of that, I had the pleasure of being assisted by the hotel’s incredible concierge team, most notably, Sam. He went above and beyond, offering fantastic recommendations for local attractions, providing detailed train schedules, and even sharing the best times to visit the nearby night market. Sam was friendly, knowledgeable, and made me feel like I was speaking with a friend rather than just a hotel employee. His personalized service really made my visit special, and because of him, I would definitely stay at Samala Hotel again. Both the hotel’s swift and thoughtful response to the earthquake and Sam’s exceptional service made my stay truly memorable. Highly recommend!
