Easy access to Acadia, which was our main purpose for the trip. Ellsworth has more shopping (e.g., grocery) and amenities (e.g., restaurants) than expected. Rooms were a bit smaller than expected, but quite functional. Staff was quite responsive to questions and requests.

Had a late check-in which was communicated with staff in advance. They were gracious and proactive with sharing check-in details. Upon arrival however, the door code we were given didn’t work, and no one was responsive to the phone number, the text number, or the office and we are currently sleeping in the car. When the text says “we are always here for you. If you need any assistance call or text” and they most definitely are not there, it’s not good optics. We won’t stay here again.

The staff was nice, the room was clean, we had a coffee maker but no coffee. The bed was not comfortable, it felt way too hard and the pillows were too big, uncomfortable to sleep on. I confused my room number so when I opened it with our code it was someone else's room, I didn't like that the code unlocked a room that wasn't ours, concerned me that someone may have had the code for our room.
