We were looking for places around Bar Harbor to stay, and this did not disappoint. It’s an hour away, but honestly, we liked it better than being in the town. The space was much higher quality than even the pictures show. Very clean, quaint, with great amenities and a view you can’t beat. Plus the owners send texts with recommendations and have an amazing guest book. We had everything we needed and more.

Parking was so dark i had to get out of car with flashlight to find my space (each marked by cabin), no way to find rooms in main lodge till you go in and climb stairs, need sign right at bluff house road, need luggage racks for suitcases(had to put them on floor), pretty noisy in hallway Slept very well--good beds

Great views from the Main Office deck! We enjoyed our coffee on the deck while looking out at the ocean and beautiful fall trees! Great place to stay, would stay again if I am in the area.

This inn was SO BEAUTIFUL!!! The common area is so incredibly cozy, the rooms were so cute and homey, and the views were unbelievable. We stayed only 2 days but i want to come back for a whole week.

Quaint cabin that served our needs very well. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets while overlooking the bay and the use of the deck chairs in the morning while sipping coffee. Would have been nice to have a few more k-cups for the first morning, but cleaning staff did get us more for the rest of our stay. Our only complaint is that the access road into the property is badly in need of being graded or have the potholes filled, other than that, we enjoyed the area and the cabin very much!

Amazing setting with a great view of the ocean. Cabin was in excellent condition, very clean with a great wood cabin vibe. The whole process of checking in was seamless. The staff stayed in communication and all we needed was the code for the door. Very comfortable bed, and a heater was provided which worked great. Would definitely stay here again.

The cabin was clean and comfortable. The view is spectacular. Wifi service in the cabin was a bit spotty. All communication with Bluff House staff was accomplished via text, I did not meet anyone on staff personally. The information and directions received were helpful and easy to follow.

Cute little cabin, very clean and new. Front porch with chairs and a view of water and woods. Friendly lady at the desk in main building. No free breakfast due to time of year. Near Acadia and several restaurants by car. Very private and quiet area. Parking right next to cabin which was convenient.

Incredible views, spotlessly clean, comfortable room. I loved being able to walk to the shoreline through the forest. Serene and peaceful. The staff went out of their way to make sure I was enjoying my stay. When I asked for herbal tea but there was none to be had, the hostess went to the market and bought some for me. Another hostess provided a sheet of rainy day activities on a day when the weather was not cooperating. The location to the scenic loop, the charming shops in Winter Harbor, and the lovely places to eat made this a perfect place to stay. It is a simple room, with no tv but it was very comfortable and very clean. Also, be aware that there is no elevator and only steep steps to the upstairs rooms. All in all a wonderful stay.

Loved the view from our cabin until another car came and parked next to their cabin, which was what they are supposed to do. Would have loved a small fire pit next to the cabin however, I’m sure it’s a liability issue. Because it is a self check in, we were unclear as to the use of the main building. I should have asked… The owners communicated some awesome points of interest, via text, throughout our stay which was wonderful! My reason for 4 stars is it was a lot of money in my opinion.

Clean and spacious room. They could use some basics in the room, though, like hooks or rods for towels in the bathroom, a bit larger fridge, another mirror (the bathroom vanity is very small and the only mirror is above it - doesn’t work well for two) and an bed that doesn’t squeak each time one person rolls over.
