What a beautiful hotel. The beds were super comfortable. The bartender was fabulous. The sit down menu breakfast was out of this world. and the location was spot on.

This hotel was amazing! The room was picture perfect with all the essentials and luxurious features! Parking under the hotel was an excellent addition given the weather that I encountered.

Amazing value with the free parking, breakfast included and small touches such as the fresh baked cookies every afternoon (which were incredible!). The ONLY complaint is that the guest room has 2 queen beds but only one night stand in between the two beds. There really does need to be a nightstand on either side of the bed. The main bedroom could also have used an additional trashcan, there was only the one in the bathroom.

Everything was excellent, except for the location of our room. We loved being able to walk everywhere, including about two blocks to the the Harbor Land Bridge. Having free covered parking was a bonus. The complementary breakfasts were tasty. The staff was friendly and courteous. The room was very comfortable. We didn’t get to take advantage of it, but they also have a cocktail/music event each evening at their sister facility around the corner, which looked really fun. If you are a light sleeper, though, ask for a room on the back side of the hotel. We were in room 103, which is close to the lobby and on the front of the building, a sidewalk distance away from the street. The street sweepers come by twice every morning at about 4am. The delivery person arrives at about 6am, and we heard that person loading every bottle into the refrigerator. The street is fairly busy even late at night, and having a grocery store across the street doesn’t help. Motorcycles sat outside our window, idling. And, people would stand next to our window and talk (even very late), and we could every word of their conversation. Despite our room location, we would definitely recommend The Pathmaker to others!

I can't say I was impressed by this hotel. The room faced the street and was extremely noisy at night. Maybe invest in more soundproof windows? For the price paid I was extremely disappointed. It was just a regular hotel room with nothing special. The only exception was the free parking. That was much appreciated. Would I choose to stay again? Probably not. Breakfast menu was very limited. Can't speak for dinner menu as we did not eat there.

Great place to stay while visiting Bar Harbor. Rooms are spacious, bed was comfortable, and the included breakfast was tasty. Very close to all of the shopping and dining (very walkable) in Bar Harbor and they have free parking while staying there.
