We were fortunate to be on the 6th floor with a very large patio overlooking the Cathedral and all the activity below. We also appreciated the large bathroom and the complementary ride to the airport. Room was comfortable once we figure out that we had to use the remote to turn on the heatpump.

Hotel was perfectly located next to the Cathedral de Barcelona. Short walk to most places you’ll want to visit. Wonderful hotel and staff. Rooftop bar was amazing. Highly recommend. Would go back.

Beautiful hotel but…

The Lamaro is a lovely hotel in a great part of Barcelona. But our room’s design was problematic for us, unfortunately. There is a soaking tub 10 or 15 feet from the bed and behind the tub is the sink. The toilet and shower are each rather lightly enclosed by frosted glass. There are no hooks to hang up any towels when showering and the floor directly the shower got very wet - we had to use several towels to dry it. I know that this more open bathroom design is, for some reason, in vogue now in many hotels but we find it very inconvenient and utterly lacking in privacy. If this design doesn’t bother you, then the Lamaro would be a terrific place to stay.

Wonderful property in the hart of the Gothic quarter. Walking distance to almost anywhere. Amazing stuff that goes out of the way to help you in any way. All stuff was super helpful. Oleg however was amazing and so was Zhora. Oleg was very knowledgeable about the area, there was nothing he didn’t know. He immediately pulled up everything on computer, gave detailed information. Just an amazing person working in this hotel. This is not to take away from all the other employees, but had to mention him specifically. Great property and very happy I chose it.

Amazing location

Just stayed 2 nights and loved the location and views at this hotel. The decor is beautiful. Everything is updated and very clean. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast buffet had so many options and they were all delicious. Staff and service was also amazing. Would definitely go back next time we're in Barcelona.

The location cannot be beat. The hotel wanted to be perfection, and I would stay there again, however odd things, such as no heat - April-60 degrees outside, needed a heater brought to room. Tvs did not work. Then, one tv worked but both remotes did not, and one could not be fixed. Overall not what you expect from this level of a hotel. The staff were very nice. The location is OUTSTANDING. Can use a few more pillows on the bed. Bed would split apart when using. Two twins put together.. yet come apart? very odd, and again, not appropriate for this cost/stars... I would say a disappointing stay given the price, and expectations. Staff get 4 stars, hotel, 3.

Property was an old building,I had absolutely no view. Prices were very high but inline with others in area. The workers especially the fellow who handled my luggage was a very nice man. Best part was rooftop bar restaurant in front of the cathedral.
