What a great little loft. Perfect for work and I'll go back for a long weekend and golf. Three things I didn't love but can live with. No wash cloth, no shampoo or body wash, and cheap toilet paper. Other than that, I loved the place.
The property was just the right size for us and located in a good setting close to downtown. It was well decorated and furnished, however the bed had a low spot in the middle making sleeping not entirely comfortable. We had been warned to be quiet and thoughtful of the neighbors but on our first night there the person in the next unit was up late making noise and had the tv on late into the night disrupting our sleep. It did not happen more than once.
I am exhibiting fine art photography at The Center and had to be in Bartlesville for 2 days to hang gallery pictures. Very quiet location. This was a nice, 4 restaurants within walking distance, extra clean, bed and chairs were comfy. I grew up in Bville and love returning here. Even the stairs up are historic.
While the building was beautifully restored and the neighborhood was quaint, the walls are paper thin. Sadly, a neighboring guest chose to play war video games into the wee morning hours that kept us awake. Without direct contact with building management, we could not do anything about the problem at the time it was occurring. We could not verify if this noisy neighbor was a full time resident or just staying a few days. He played games again the second night but only for about 30 minutes. Due to the set up of the units, it was impossible to verify his location so we couldnât even knock on doors to ask him to stop. Of course, he was likely wearing headphones for gaming so a knock on his door would have been futile. Despite the disrespectful neighbor, we enjoyed the apartment and its uniqueness.
We were finally able to get into direct contact with management on our final morning. They assured us they had notified this loud neighbor but sadly, both of our nights were restless/sleepless due to his obnoxious game playing.
The price and location were right for this cute little condo in Bartlesville, so we didn't mind the 4 flight of stairs to get up to it. The unit is just as it is pictured. Check in was so easy and communication with the owner was great. There wasn't an iron that we could find, but luckily, we brought wrinkle release spray. We also bought a few cheap wash cloths as we were told in the check in instructions that these aren't provided bc they are ruined so easily when used for make up removal--that's fair. The bed is queen sized which my husband and I are used to sleeping in. However, the units mattress had the "taco effect" which may be nice if its just one person sleeping in it but we found ourselves struggling not to roll into the middle. Overall, we had a nice stay and appreciated the price, cleanliness and responsiveness of the host.
My Husband surprised me with the trip to visit Pawhuska. We had an incredible time. We toured the lodge on Pioneer Womenâs Ranch. It was just 25 minutes away. We enjoyed downtown Pawhuska and the Buffalo Preserve.
We stayed at this little apartment above Frank & Lolaâs, it was quiet, clean, & right around everything we wanted to visit in Bartlesville. Our host was great! One step ahead with anything we needed during and at the end of the stay.
Right across the street from where we stayed was Copper & Mill Brewery. Great beer and the Cajun Food Truck was amazing.
We enjoyed dinner at Sterlingâs Grille and walking downtown Bartlesville.
Before we headed home we stopped at Weeze's Cafe for a good, fast and hot breakfast.
We are already planning another trip back already.
Great place, great local amenities, will definitely return!
My wife and I had a great experience here. The place was clean and tidy, the location was perfect and was very easy to find. We plan on returning later in the year and will definitely stay here again! Thanks!
