Immediately after checking in, I was approached by someone sitting in the lobby asking for spare change/money. The bed sheets had a few stains on them. Carpet looked old and like it had not been shampooed or vacuumed. There was paint drip spots all over everything. And last but certainly not least, it sounded like they were remodeling or working in the room to the side of us. ALL NIGHT LONG there was banging/hammering, walking from one end to the other, slamming/dropping heavy objects. IT WAS TERRIBLE.

We asked for a smoke free room but it smelled so bad that we didn’t even stay the second night. The smell was so strong it was burning our noses. The bed frame sounded like a file cabinet anytime we moved and the pillows were so small.

We paid for an early check in, which was a new fee to us. That must have made the cleaning service rush because when we went to get in the bed, the sheets had not been changed. There was dirt and debris on the sheets. Because of the time, they wouldn’t come change the sheets so they gave us a new set and we got to change our own bed so we didn’t have to sleep in a dirty one. The only restitution was they reimbursed us for the early check in.
