For the most part this is a lovely, comfortable cabin. It has a very nice well-appointed kitchen and a great covered porch with a gas grill and view of Lake Superior on a clear day. It was very clean.
However, the bed is EXTREMELY soft, so much so that it aggravated my husband's back the first night and he had to spend the next five nights sleeping on the couch. (An additional comforter was provided but no sheets.)
The only heating/cooling unit is a mini split in the main room and even with the door open the bedroom doesn't get much air circulation from it so it was pretty stuffy.
Another minor complaint but may be important to people who are tall -- in spite of this being new construction, for some reason they installed one of those very short, small toilets where you feel like you're doing a deep squat to use it. Just kind of annoying and unexpected in a new build.
Other than that, this property is a bit off the beaten path, about ten minutes drive north of Bayfield so if it's important for you to be near the action, you might want to consider something closer. We liked the secludedness of it but would not stay again unless they upgraded to a firmer mattress.
