Place is pretty dated. It was clean inside, but there is lots of old. We were turned off immediately when we walked in by the overwhelming odor of a plug-in air freshener on full blast. After unplugging that, we went to eat outside on the deck while we opened the windows to let the place air out. Unfortunately the deck looked like it had not been cleaned in months. There was a huge buildup of grime on things and an empty propane cannister sitting right in the middle of things. Management's going to respond to this by saying they offered to come and clean things, and they did make that offer, but we wanted to eat then, so we just took the time to clean it up ourselves. Management also wasn't going to be able to do any more than we did to air the place out, so we declined their offer. Plus, the deck should have been cleaned before our arrival. We should not have had to ask for that. Also, in our search for fans to air things out we found a garbage bag full of someone else's old unwashed clothes in a closet. Kind of gross.
Not a quiet location, not enough wash cloths for 3 people for three nights.
Beds were comfortable, need tool on living room blinds to close them properly and bathroom lighting poor in main bath.
The bed was very comfortable.
There were only 3 teaspoons. You could use more teaspoons.
A plug in, electric tea kettle would be a nice addition.
A dish strainer would be nice. There were black spots floating on top of the body wash in the main shower.- mold?
Beautiful area. 1.5 hours to ocean beautiful drive. Everything close. Pathetic right next door. Property needs some TLC. New pillows and deep clean. No condiments.
Cute little apartment (there is a residence downstairs). There are some cooking implements and dinnerware available, and other amenities that make thus a convenient stay.
Clean, well supplied and quiet neighborhood. Centrally located to go to Mount Hood route 101, Vancouver or south to Salem a great home base. Awesome walking trails right out the front door also. Definitely would book again.
This place was so welcoming and warm just like home! The beds and linens are soft and very comfortable. The convenience of having two full bathrooms is such a plus when you have several adults. We will be back and canât wait to stay here again!
This home is beautifully furnished and maintained. It is in a nice neighborhood. House is right next to a long hiking trail, great for a morning walk.
Nice to have an outside area with a gas grill for cooking outdoors. Furniture is very nice . Beds comfortable (always a plus in a rental).
One safely suggestion is to be careful backing out of driveway. Use the parking lane that is available. There is a hill just before the house and visibility is a challenge.
Property was clean and beds were comfortable. Kitchen was not really set up to cook but fine for breakfast and coffee. Somewhat busy street so backing out was a little stressful and there was some road noise. Bathrooms and kitchen a bit dated but overall, quite a good stay.
We stayed here for over a month while our home was being renovated and enjoyed the home. It had everything we needed. Especially enjoyed relaxing In the living room and looking out the windows at the beautiful trees.
Amazing property for our long weekend stay in the Portland area. Located in a wonderful established quiet neighborhood. Huge bonus was the house location being right next to a walking path that led to trails miles upon miles long. The house was furnished well with comfortable beds. Hopefully can take advantage of this spot another time.
We appreciated the well stocked home while we were renovating our own home. The trails right outside the door were lovely and the birds and ducks were out in the pond nearby.
A bottle of wine on the console was a nice touch. Wish we'd had time to enjoy the free wine tastings offered at local winerys!
