DISGUSTING- CHANCE OF CATCHING A DISEASE
The front entrance was lovely and gave off the impression that it was going to be a comfortable stay. I am assuming this is as far as the employee of [...] looked. Because the room we were placed in was disgusting!!!!! I would not have placed my dog in there for the night- in fear that it would contract a deadly disease.ROOM 804When entering it stank of mould – and upon turning on the light you could see mould lining the roof to floor curtains. We went to open the doors that lead onto the balcony and found that it was too dangerous to walk out, due to all the rubble/ cement that had fallen from the balcony above. The bathroom- the toilet seat was not connected to the toilet and fell off every time you sat down- thus becoming redundant in function. The shower head was a hose contraption and you could easily tie it to the wall to have hands free with a clever plastic shopping bag invention. That said, you first had to brave the chance of getting tetanus from the bright orange rust that covered the bath/shower recess where you stood. The bed sheets were suppose to be white, however they were covered in dubious stains and pubic hair. My bed sheets even had the added decoration of cigarette burns all through the fitted sheet. The walls of the room had wall paper that was peeling due to the extra weight of mould all down them.Just to top it off- this hotel is not located anywhere near where the map points. Thus making it about a 3/4 km drive into downtown and an expensive one.
