Although the property is listed as pet friendly, there is no place for a dog to relieve itself on the property. This rental was generally clean, as far as floors, bathrooms, linens, etc. But I noticed the entryway and front door need scrubbing and a fresh coat of paint would improve things. This rental needs some TLC, for example there is an over-the-sink lightbulb in the kitchen but there's NO FIXTURE. Bathroom towels are provided (in a cupboard over a washer and dryer in an alcove), but it took me a bit to find the two washcloths, which were in a kitchen drawer. I was only able to identify them as washcloths because I used to have the same pattern, as they didn't match either of the mismatched bathroom towels. Although there is a lovely hiking trail directly behind this multiplex of condos, there was no way to access the trail from this condo. The property manager is helpful and responsive, and the general location of the unit was adequately convenient.

The property needs a thorough cleaning as there are spider webs all over. Both of my traveling buddies say they were bitten by spiders during our stay. Attention to detail with fit and finish of updated interior was rather poor. The coffee pot lid was broken. There was a roof leak in the living room, which the owner did send someone to look at but didn't fix to my knowledge. The deadbolt on the front door doesn't work most of the time. There were very few towels. I took numerous photos but deleted them.

The place was a nice size. It did have a musty smell. Never did find the hot tub. The chairs on the deck were more comfortable than the couch and beds. The lock for the sliding door to the deck didnt latch and the chain lock on the front door wasnt stopping anything it was just attached to the trim that was coming loose. The host was nice and prompt when communicating.

Proceed with caution

This place looked open and airy, two balconies and pet friendly. Instead it was dank, pet stained, and bug friendly. We were not able to go on either porch and even coming in the front was a challenge not to let many in the house. We moved to another property and despite the condition and misleading listing, no partial refund was given. I do not recommend this property and any from this host. She was unresponsive in communication and twice VRBO had to reach out to her to connect.

Good enough

The Host is communicative as needed, with check in and check out process. There was left over trash at the residence from prior tenants... water bottle on the floor in master bedroom, beer can and gatorade bottle on deck, and the deck had not been tidied up in quite some time with cobwebs and debris. The beds were quite comfortable and linens were clean and fresh. The carpet stains are off-putting and I felt the need to wear my house shoes during the whole stay. Very quiet neighborhood and parking was adequate. A decent place to stay, the view of the lake was very nice, but was unable to receive the passes to enjoy the lake once we checked in.

Comfy Cottage

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this vacation rental! The home was quipped with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The beds were super comfortable, and we especially loved the decks. The location was peaceful, yet close enough to travel into Bentonville. We felt right at home and can’t wait to come back!

Updates

The property needs up some updates . The bedroom carpet had soil stains all over it . I didn’t realize it was older but the deck updated too would be more appealing . Overall it worked out great . Very nice area .

This unit is attached to others on both sides but it was quiet. If you have a dog know there in no soil or grass nearby. Bed is comfortable & plenty of hot water for showers.

Drove 10 hours to not reach the manager

2hrs prior to my arrival, I attempted to touch base with the property manager/owner Rose. The phone consistently went to voicemail. After contacting customer service we decided that the reservation needed to be cancelled.VRBO was accommodating.

Disappointing

Unfortunately, walking into the house, I could immediately see it was a let down. The front door was covered in black smudges and the downstairs carpet was stained. We had a crawling baby staying with us for the weekend and none of us felt it was sanitary for the baby to be on the floor. The furniture was thin, stiff, and uncomfortable. Some people may not have a problem with staying for a couple of nights, but we decided we didn’t want to stay and left after 1-2 hours. When I reached out to the host to let her know the situation, I didn’t receive a response. The neighborhood is nice and convenient. I have stayed in that area previously and enjoy how it is secluded and the bat cave. The house itself could just use some updating and cleaning and it could be a good property.

Not able to access property

We were not able to contact owner or access the property so had to stay at a hotel instead. Called customer service for VRBO and they were very helpful in canceling our stay and giving us a refund. Owner did call later in the night apologizing for the mix up. Lesson learned to always reach out to the owner before a stay.

Great value.

The place is in a nice location tucked away in Bella Vista. If you are looking for a place that is updated this isn't your place. If you are looking for a place to stay that has everything you need then its great, just don't expect the decor and updates to be on your list. Its a good price and it reflects the home. The beds are great, AC worked great, and it had everything you needed. It was a good stay for sure but it could use updates.
