Perched high above Lake Como, Villa Ponti Bellavista feels less like a house and more like a state of mind. A place suspended between sky and landscape — where architecture, light and weather merge into one continuous experience.

Inspired by the visionary language of famous Italian architect, Gio Ponti, the villa carries the unmistakable elegance, lightness and optimism of the Ponti mid-century era — reinterpreted with deep respect, sensitivity and contemporary comfort.

Architecture & the Spirit of Ponti

Villa Ponti Bellavista is infused with subtle yet powerful references to Gio Ponti’s architectural philosophy: clarity of lines, generosity of space, a dialogue between interior and exterior, and an almost poetic relationship with light.

You will find these principles throughout the villa — in the proportions of the rooms, the rhythm of windows and terraces, the carefully framed views, and the way the house opens itself to the sky and the lake below.

Preserving the Ponti Bathrooms – A Rare Commitment

One of the most important values guiding the restoration of Villa Ponti Bellavista was the preservation of its original bathrooms — an exceptional and increasingly rare decision.

Wherever possible, the original Ponti-era tiles, washbasins and architectural details have been carefully retained. These elements are not decorative references; they are authentic witnesses of the house’s history.

At the same time, every bathroom has been gently elevated to meet modern expectations of comfort: discreetly updated installations, contemporary functionality, refined lighting, a seamless balance between heritage and ease.

The result is a dialogue between past and present — where historic design remains alive, usable and relevant.

Every room in Villa Ponti Bellavista has been conceived to celebrate light and perspective. Large openings frame the lake and the sky like living artworks. Interiors feel calm, generous and intentionally uncluttered — allowing the architecture and the view to speak.

The property is accessed by a private road in Bellagio, with secure parking for up to 4 cars inside the gate.

Perched at 500 meters, nestled in a cedar forest and away from prying eyes and neighboring homes, you will enjoy utmost privacy and tranquility, surrounded only by the woods, lake, and mountains!

With a large pool, a small pool, a sauna, and a cast-iron tub for two on the manicured lawn, plus a bocce court, loungers, towels, umbrellas, games, and accessories—everything you need is at hand.

On a warm summer afternoon or under the painted evening sky, adults will relax while children have fun, with an exclusive pool area overlooking the stunning panorama!

It’s time to live your dream of staying in a villa in the famous and stunning setting of Lake Como!

Guests will have access to all areas of the house shown in the listing except for the guardian's apartment and the private laundry areas (not shown in the photos).

Villa Ponti Bellavista is rented in its entirety and will be for exclusive use along with the pool.

In the early morning, the guardians take care of the garden and pool area without disturbing the guests. For requests or questions, feel free to ask; it will be a pleasure to respond.

The pool area can be closed with a gate to prevent small children from accessing it without parents.

The sauna is prohibited for minors under 18 years old unless accompanied by adults.

You will be contacted and welcomed by the check-in staff on the day of your arrival, who will take care of:

-Establishing the arrival time and welcoming you in person

-Providing useful information related to the villa and the surrounding area

-Requesting identification documents from each guest as required by the Italian police

-Collecting the municipal tourist tax of €5 per person per night

-Requesting a security deposit of 4000€ by stripe capture

In any case, before, during, and after your stay, we will be available for any questions or requests of any kind, and we always respond as quickly as possible!

Included in the booking cost are two hours of cleaning for the rooms and bathrooms each day during the stay at 12 AM. For requests and questions regarding this, please ask; we will be happy to respond.

Villa Ponti Bellavista follows an environmentally respectful philosophy and is very committed to this, also aiming to raise awareness among guests: no chemical cleaning products are used, and organic waste is composted to make fertilizer.

For this reason heating costs are not included in the rent:
HEATING always subject to payment.
To calculate these costs, the meters will be read together with the guests at check-in and check-out.

Events and parties are prohibited and must have the owner's approval, with a different cost from short-term rental.

Extra concierge services such as private chef, airport shuttle, transfers, extra cleaning, massages, and much more are available at an additional cost.
