Enjoyable stay at Sweet Home Hotel, Belley

I am travelling on my own on a self supported velo tour and I loved this hotel and had pre booked and stayed for 3 nights. The staff were very welcoming, the room was great with a fantastic shower and there was a secure velo/bike garage with water available for washing the velo/bike.

Uphill from the Rhone

Friendly welcome. Our stay was marred by the extreme heat in France in July. The rooms are small (ex-IBIS) and our west-facing room was stifling. The fan was a small help. We thought the room was overpriced but there is little choice when travelling by bike on the ViaRhona. Bikes stored safely.
