This is not a private property. There is a second guest house in front of the home. Two days before our check in, we were notified the kayaks and sauna are shared amenities. This information is not displayed on the listing. When I asked the host about the shared amenities, she reported there has never been an issue sharing the amenities. The amenities are shared with the guests staying in the host’s second guest home. In order for the second guest home guests to share the amenities, they walk through the home’s back yard. So this home does not have a private yard or beach. This wasn’t stated in the listing which was frustrating to find out two days before our stay. However, the view is truly amazing. The home is nice. The location is wonderful. Hopefully the host updates the listing to accurate depict the property.

Our stay was fantastic! One could not ask for a more beautiful location or accommodation to view the gorgeous sunsets over the Salish Sea. The house is amazing, fully equipped, and filled with beautiful art reflecting the owner’s many travels. But what makes this property a real treasure are the gardens, both in front and out back, flower, veggie, and herb gardens complete with no less than 3 water features including a koi pond. Looking for serenity? Look no further

Dreamy Beach Weekend

We rented this house for a girls weekend and had the most beautiful, relaxing stay. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for cooking/entertaining. The location is about 15-20 minutes from downtown Bellingham, which I didn’t realize at the time but ended up loving. The property feels secluded and private in the best way. Most of our trip was spent on the back deck and walking along the beach out back. Everything was clean and comfortable and the host responded quickly to questions. We will definitely be back!

Million Dollar View!

We had a wonderful time during our stay. My 85 year old mother has mobility issues and she was able to navigate the home well. The parking place is not near the front door however the path to the front door was easy for her to traverse with her walker. The kitchen was well-equipped and very clean. Check-in and check-out was easy. My only negative feedback is the beds were "firm" and the commodes are quite low. If you have someone with mobility issues, you may want to get a toilet seat extender.

Just plain excellent!

Beautiful house in a beautiful location! It was exactly what we were hoping for. Spent a day in Vancouver, spent a day in Bellingham. Spent the rest of the time cooking, hotubbing , saunaing, cold plunging, walking the private beach, etc. at the house. House was equipped with everything you need. The house was designed with thought, decorated with special treasures along and beautiful art. The beds were very comfortable. Special place to make memories with family. Will definitely be back.

Million dollar view

Beautiful property with loads of room to entertain. We enjoyed watching the sunset and relaxing on the deck. Nice size kitchen and large living room area great for gatherings and playing games. Very private backyard and property to enjoy. Close to town for groceries etc We experienced a small mechanical breakdown During our stay However, it was dealt with promptly and compensation was offered without even asking. Great hosts!

Extraordinarily fun property

Our family of 5 had an awesome week enjoying Lummi Bay. This property is an amazing blend of thoughtful design to maximize the bay view and gardens, amazing artwork, comfortable furniture and a well-appointed kitchen. The beds were very comfortable, and my only suggestion is to bring an eye-mask to sleep if anyone in the master bedroom is light-sensitive. This home is light and bright. Our kids are now adults and thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, sauna, and kayaks. The bay was calm and easy to paddle, and the extended beach at low tide was fun to find shells, see birds, and explore the waterline. Our family enjoys cooking our meals and the kitchen had everything we needed. All of the appliances worked well and we appreciated the use of the washer/dryer after being on the road the week prior. The extensive beautiful gardens, koi pond, and sounds of the water were wonderful. The home was very comfortable and had unique art pieces around every corner. Some stunning, some fun and funky. We loved the open layout, colors, and views of the bay in this very special home. Highly recommended!

A slide of heaven

It was very peaceful the view, the birds & all the nature around heavenly. The house offers all the amenities you can imagine. It makes you feel you are home with the best view of the water. This was one of our family vacation we do throughout the year. Definitely I recommend it if you want tranquility & nature. The jacuzzi & sauna was the icing on the cake. The he house has all kinds of art from paintings, pictures, & good collections of books if you are bored which one can’t be in this house. We are so happy we found this little peace of heaven. Awesome place my only recommendation would be an air conditioner we got here on the hottest day & the house was so hot. As the weather got better you are okay by opening all windows.

Great Lumni Bay Location

Great location on the bay with a view. We walked the beach each day. The kids loved to explore during low tide. Loved the sauna and hot tub. The house and grounds have a lot of character but it is an older house.

Gorgeous property, lovely views and so comfortable!

We stayed for a week over Christmas, and the stay was absolutely perfect. We had 5 adults and two children in our group and we all felt like we had plenty of space. We also rented the treehouse and it was also beautiful. You can’t beat the views and the entire property is magical and peaceful!

Summer Beach House 2023

Where do I begin? Everything was perfect and the house was incredible. I vacation quite a bit and I love it when we enter a place and immediately feel at home. This is that place. From the moment my family and I walked in we were taken by the decorating and even though a lot of the items were things I would not see in my own home, each picture, statue or whatever was perfect here. When we walked out on the deck and saw the view of the water, we were blown away and knew that this is not the last time we will see this vacation rental. The grounds are immaculate, and we all loved sharing the yard with all the birds and rabbits. Kudos to the cleaning crew who got the home ready for us. They did a fantastic job. When we called about the hot tub we received an immediate response, and the problem was taken care of. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone looking for a relaxing time away from everyday life.

Sunny delight

We hosted a family getaway here recently. We could not have chosen a better spot. This house shines with its open layout in the main living area, in addition to ample deck space. The vistas of Puget Sound, particularly at dusk, are unparalleled. The house is well-maintained, clean, and inviting. We had everything we needed for a perfect stay.

Amazing outdoor spaces

If you are a birder or nature lover, this is a wonderful place to stay! The front gardens are a cool, shady bird oasis, we saw so many different songbirds! The flowers are beautiful too. Out back on the deck we watched bald eagles, loons, harbor seals and hundreds of blue herons at low tide. The hot tub was marvelous! There is a separate apt over the garage for rent, so you share the private beach with them. I think it was rented for a couple nights during our stay but we didn’t see anyone. The primary bedroom was very comfortable with a king tempur-pedic type mattress. Amazing views from every window. May be hot though in summer with the afternoon sun, not sure if there is AC? The owner and property manager were very nice and very responsive to my pre-trip questions. Would definitely stay again!

Graduation celebration

The property was beautiful! We had several family and friends join us for an afternoon to celebrate our son’s graduation from WWU. Everybody loved gathering on the deck and walking to the beach. An absolutely perfect weekend!

Love loved LOOOOOVED this place. The view was worth every penny and the location was fabulous The wifi was a hit and miss so our kids went a little crazy but that was the whole point of vacationing My husband loved the sauna and i loved that the owner had a majority of the plants in the landscape labeled.
