No fault of the property owners but a bad storm went thru Bemidji the day before I made my reservation thru Expedia. I arrived at the hotel an hour after making my Expedia reservation only to find the hotel with no power. No lights, water, and no way to even ck in. Immediately chatted with Expedia to alert them of the problem. After a long while I was informed that Expedia would work with the hotel to remove the charge. Days later I was informed by Expedia that the charge to my credit card would remain as they could not evidently work it out with the hotel. I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Not sure if Expedia or the hotel is the issue but customer service was horrible. Not refunding the charge is an unacceptable response givin this situation. I doubt I will use Expedia or stay at this location again.
