Old motel in decent condition (for its age), could do with some updates, the mini fridge buzzed all night. Noisy neighbours. Check in didn ât even want to see ID/credit card which was a bit odd. Pool def not in swim worthy condition - green as the grass it was next to!
The room was clean and comfortable. Parking was easy, right outside my room. The facilities were exactly what I needed to break my drive.
Unfortunately there was a large group of people who decided to congregate outside my door and smoke and talk very loudly during the night. As well as a man who talked at the top of his voice and coughed and grunted all night next door.
Roomvery small .smelt of smoke and shower recess filthy. Not to me tion checking in
Fone no on door to ring. Supposed to be open till 11pm.foned this no from 7.30p. And left msg .no reply after 30.ins got through to staff he said hady fone off???
Only just turned back on mow. Thenwhy did he finally answer my call and take a other 7 mins to return.
Bed about 6inches away from bathroom door no room to get through and then a small rise between door and floor.1st and last time i stop there
Great place to stay. Close to St John of God hospital. Especially when you have elderly parents. The staff at Golden Hills were very helpful. Would definitely recommend staying there.
Older style motel but very comfortable. Exterior/driveway/parking bays all re done. Bathroom had been renovated. Bed was very comfy & nice white sheets. Walls could do with painting and an extra lick or safety chain on door for added security.
Would stay again without hesitation
Comfortable room and bed, l asked for a quiet room which was given and appreciated.only had noisy people in the end room on the last day very early in the morning yelling and slamming doors. Overall very pleasant stay and would stay again
The hotel was over priced and look very neglected wonât give you a safe or welcome feeling , the lock was not secure , the walls were paper thin I could hear people having a normal conversation all night until 6 am on the first night ,2nd night man snoring all night just horrible I think it should be rated 2 stars and cost no more than $100 per night
Iâd pay over $350 per night I will complain to consumers affairs itâs just abusive how much they charge- it really ruined my stay
Keep away from this horrible place not a nice area ether
The family room we stayed in had recently been renovated. The bathroom was the most modern and stylish looking bathroom Iâve ever seen in a motel. But the toilet seat was loose, the hot water took ages to come through, we were only given one towel for three people and the cleaners had forgotten to empty the bin. It was an adjoining room and we had to sleep with ear plugs in since we could hear every word from the people next door. We were only there one night and didnât use any of the general facilities so canât comment on those.
It is affordable and the person at the reception was polite and helpful. The bathroom was disgusting with mold on the junctions, broken sliding door to the bathroom and leaking tap. The AC works but takes a long time to warm the room The carpet is old. To summarise it's a rundown motel.
For a low budget Motel the room was clean, quiet and comfortable and good value for money. Comfortable bed and would stay there again. Shopping not within walking distance but a take away pizza shop and Petrol station with well stocked convenience store 150 mtrs away. Limited stock of alcoholic bevereges available at Reception.
