This property really is the perfect location. The outside "downstairs" was a great place for the kids to play, while the inside was comfortable and well-designed. The only downside were how thin the walls were and how much we could hear each other (especially coming from the kids room). We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.
The beach is so close and the cottage is wonderful. Love the charm and having everybody on one level. Kitchen had everything we needed. Appreciated having a washer and dryer. Liked that there is an outdoor shower for coming back sandy from the beach. Such a wonderful place to get away with people who are near and dear to enjoy the beach.
I feel so lucky that the owners of this property shared it with us! It is obviously somebody's special place, and it was very special to us as well. We loved how close it was to the beach. This is the one old house in a neighborhood of condos and it has so much charm! It has two doors on each side of the house that you can open up to get breezes. We didn't use the air conditioning at all. The interior is all wood and its very lovely. We appreciated the shower and hose below the house to wash the sand off after the beach. Despite the listing mentioning bikes, we didn't find any to use, but we also didn't reach out to find out if they were there someplace. We went into Bethany Beach for a couple of meals and liked how much lower-key it is than Rohoboth. DiFiebo's was delicious. Overall, it was a great beach house, nice size, nice everything.
We had a great stay at this cabin! Itâs vintage, for sure, but overall was a very comfortable place to stay just 1 min walk to the beach and Mattâs fish camp. We have been staying in Tower Shores for the last several years and just love the location. The house was well stocked and had everything we needed. The local host was very responsive and immediately helped rectify an AC issue. Overall I would recommend this cabin for a family beach vacation!
