We enjoyed our stay. The price was reasonable and free breakfast plus drinks were included. Parking was a little expensive but convenient. The staff were friendly. The building was beautiful and well maintained. Our downsides were that the walls were thin so we could hear the neighbors, the balcony was deceptively small, and we were placed very close to the elevator so there was noise from noisy guests throughout the night. I would have paid more money to not be by the elevator but it was not an option upon booking.

I have to go to Washington DC once a year. For 3 years now, I've been staying at Embassy Suites by Hilton in Bethesda. Its an excellent hotel. Clean, good variety for breakfast, 2 complimentary drinks each night, close to a metro bus stop. The staff is especially nice and friendly. For example Blanca J. took the time to chat with us. She noticed that I was a repeat guest. She made me feel more than just a guest but part of their hotel family. What more could you ask for. I highly recommend this motel. However I would be remiss if I didn't mention they close the indoor swimming pool to guests during a good chunk of the day time for swimming lessons for the community. While this is good for the community, it might be disappointing to you if you planned on using the pool during the day. I would suggest you call the motel to inquire about the pool availability if it is important to you. Even with this, I still would highly recommend the hotel.
