Cedar Creek Condo was the perfect home away from home for us on our summer Montana adventure. Close to Yellowstone, Virginia City and lots of other sights, we were glad to "Come home" each day to this cozy comfortable condo. Immaculately clean and well-stocked, the condo had a great view of the mountains and was just a quick drive to Big Sky. All in all, Doug made us feel very welcome, and although we didn't need to contact him about anything during our stay, it was lovely to know he was just a text or phone call away. Thanks for a great stay in Big Sky! (Our photo is of Ousel Falls---right there in Big Sky and a lovely short hike to the falls)
Nice place between Yellowstone and Bozeman. Pros: About an hour each way which for our group itinerary was perfect. Clean linens and a well stocked kitchen. Cons: Livingroom chair was broke and had to be propped against wall to be usable. 2nd bedroom dresser had a broken drawer, but I was able to fix to usable. Overall we had a very nice stay.
We had a fantastic stay at this Cedar Creek condo. The condo is spacious with a fully stocked kitchen, a large living room with a fire place and a hot tub to unwind after a day on the slopes. The hosts left a fantastic guide book for the unit and area. The location is also fantastic for a ski trips, as you can walk 1 minute to the free Big Sky parking lot shuttle to get to the base of the resort. Itâs just a 12-15 minute walk to the base otherwise. I would recommend renting a car if you plan to venture in to town.
We were completely satisfied with the property. The pictures online are very accurate as to what to expect. Unit was clean and amenities were provided. No issues were had during our stay. The hot tub was a big hit with the family. The location was great as well with regards to access to the ski slope. Overall very satisfied with our experience.
Enjoyed our stay, 2nd time at Big Sky. The place was clean and had all we needed. Huge snowstorm before we arrived, and after going to dinner, we planned on using the hot tub. We needed to shovel to get to it. On return from dinner, someone had done the shoveling for us! A big thanks for that. Nothing super duper fancy, but just what we needed! Would stay again!!
Very nice space conveniently located only a half block from the ski shuttle stop. First floor location made the move in and out very easy. Hot tub was great after a day on the slopes. Doug was very prompt with responding to our needs. Beds were comfortable and all other amenities worked flawlessly.
We loved our stay in Big Sky. The condo is very well located. The shuttle (which comes frequently) is across the street from the back entrance. The incline is steep, but you can choose instead to exit the front entrance and walk around. The fact that the shuttle stop is the second one ensures that you will always have a seat.
Skiing in on the way back was a little tricky at first, as we kept missing the turn-offs. But once we got the hang of it, it worked really well, with not too much poling involved.
The condo itself with extremely well stocked, from supplies to kitchenware. The 2BR/2BA with W/D worked perfectly for our family. The outdoor hot tub right outside the slider door was awesome to slip into after a day on the slopes.
The host/property manager was extremely flexible and prompt with communication. Everything worked out extremely well. If we had to complain .... as the unit is on the first floor, and if you're unlucky to have a young boisterous family above you, you'll need a white noise maker (which we happened to have!).
Again, we really loved our stay at Big Sky. The beautiful backdrop, wide and often empty trails and friendly vibe are all unbeatable!
The owner was extremely responsive to all our questions and emails. Instructions were clear and easily visible. It was extremely close to the shuttle to the base of the mountain. Parking was easy despite the plowing schedule. For Big Sky a car is necessary.
It was not easy to ski-in to this condo, so we used the shuttle instead which came regularly.
The space was good for the 2 of us but I could not see it accomodating more than 4 people. The washer/dryer was good quality. Lots of towels available. The private hot tub was a bonus and right off of the living room. It's entrance was shoveled daily. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it with the above caveats.
Unit 41. Ski shuttle stop out the back door of the hallway then walk across the street. Shuttles run constantly. Host was very nice and quick to respond to any questions i had. The Tvs are smart with Direct TV. Kitchen was well equipped with spices, coffee, condiments, pots and pans. There's a humidifier in BR closet. Plush blankets and towels. Bed was comfortable.
We would definitely stay here again.
Stayed here for long ski weekend, Edwin was very responsive. Better stocked than a lot of rentals I've stayed at, they left leftover flour, cooking spray, condiments etc for the next guests. There waa no cooking equipment we needed and didnt have. Hot tub was great. Location super convenient to the Big Sky base shuttle. Zero complaints about the stay, even seemed a little bigger than the photos made it seem
Easy access 1st floor. Walk out front door and catch shuttle to base lodge. If there's enough snow you can ski back to the parking lot, then short walk to the door.
The property was clean and well stocked. It would benefit from new carpet and pad as there is a "musty old carpet" smell to the unit when you first enter. The kitchen was stocked well above average for a rental unit with a very complete supply of dishes, cooking equipment and spices. The Hot Tub and new outdoor gas grill were wonderful to have and use. Over all, it was a very nice property. Not fancy, but clean and well cared for.
What a wonderful place, location and property manager. If you love to ski, look no further. The shuttle bus picks you up right behind the building and within 3 minutes you are at the lifts.
This condo certainly fulfilled our needs for a 4 person ski vaca. The parking lot shuttle to the mountain is definitely the way to go, just out the back door & a few steps up. There was always a shuttle there. Was even quick & convenient enough to come back for lunch. And definitely enjoyed the private hot tub. It was nice not only after skiing but to loosen up still muscles before skiing! Also, the manager was great - we had an issue w a newly installed appliance & the maintenance guy was there almost as soon as I hung up the phone & they even gave us a $100 refund for the inconvenience. Had a great time & a great stay.
The furniture was old and wore out and the TV in the bedroom was the size of a laptop
The furniture was old and wore out and the TV in the bedroom was the size of a laptop. The neighborhood was suspect I would not recommend anyone to Rent this property
Kitchen was well stocked, the grill was great. The beds were comfortable, the water pressure and temperature was spot on. The location was better than expected, the only draw back was having to pay to for a hot tub we never used, asked for a refund and have heard no response.
Nice place and location but the bed and couch was uncomfortable.
The unit was nice and in a good location to access the slopes. Parking shuttle was key. The beds and sofa were very uncomfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with cookware, plates, glasses, spices and many condiments. Unit was clean and had cleaning supplies.
We had a wonderful week in Big Sky and this condo was great! Billie was super helpful and over the top responsive to our request to have the running toilet serviced. They replaced the whole toilet in order to provide a quiet night's sleep! Also the ski in-ski out was good. There is just a little work to get to the nearby lift and skiing home was easy as could be. The trail was just across the street and a short bit down from the condo entrance. That was a big plus!
