My stay at Binghampton

We liked everything about the hotel except house keeping. could not take a bath because the drain plug was broke, we left on the toilet tank and the next day it was still there. The used wash cloths from the morning were still on the shelf in the bathtub the next morning, so I guess they don't clean the tub.The bed sheets did not look fresh the second say they were all loose and wrinkled.The coffee maker still had an old coffee pouch in it from the day before.We did not get clean glasses the second day or the 2 complimentary bottles of water for the coffee maker. Other than that we did enjoy our stay mostly. We had a problem booking but the woman in the office ,Brandi was excellent she straightened everything out for us, she is GREAT.

None of the reviews I read said that the pool is actually part of an athletic club that is connected to the hotel. So members of the club also used the pool. The woman at the club desk was so rude. We didnt realize you had to sign in with her and she yelled at us. There was no one in the pool and she came in to tell my daughter to get out of the lanes. I said she was doing laps. She questioned my daughter if that was true. She said she was and the lady said fine, but the lane was reserved so when those people came she would need to get out. We were there for another hour and no one showed up. Also the room wasnt that clean. There was a stain by the toliet and the garbage in the bathroom wasn't emptied

Though currently being updated, the property was old and not well maintained. Bar was closed by midnight with no food available nearby. Sheets and bed linens smelled like urine and probably weren’t even washed.
