Usually excellent, but my experience this time (in a single bed courtyard view room) was sub par. Room no smaller than usually but a bizarre absence of any furniture other than a study/desk chair, and a shelf for the kettle - room not even carpeted. Very firm bed on castors sliding around all night as the floor was hard. Only two pillows, both as lumpy and unpleasant as the other. The room was stiflingly hot and of course there's no a/c. Opened window but room was above the restaurant area of the conference centre, so all you could hear were all the a/c units and extractors - very noisy indeed, too much so to leave open overnight.

I stayed here with my boyfriend for one night and it was a perfect stay! I would 100% recommend staying here to others. The staff were lovely and extremely helpful. The room was clean and in great condition, the bathroom was nice and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was a lovely start to our days too. Overall, it was an amazing experience staying in this hotel and in such a great location for a great price too. I’d definitely stay again if visiting Birmingham and would recommend to others too.

Noisy, hot room with no Internet coverage

Boiling hot room, but a small fan was provided. Couldn't access the wifi at all - awful coverage. Very noisy as cars were racing along the road outside with very loud exhausts! Low water flow - both on the tap and the toilet flush. Breakfast was nice enough.

Really handy place to stay. Rooms were clean, housekeeping staff were really lovely and they have water machines in the hall to fill up your water bottles. Rooms were a little tired and worn but everything worked and reception was helpful and efficient. While there was a tesco, Greggs and costa just 2 mins away, the area just out of the uni campus felt very unsafe. But perfect location for central Birmingham, especially if you need parking. We didn't eat there as I felt the prices, especially for dinner were too expensive given there were so many local restaurants.

Great Stay at Aston Conference Hotel

Wonderful customer service from all staff, lovely clean rooms with crisp bedding, and good black out curtains, I had the BEST sleep ever. The breakfast was delicious with a wide choice of foods for all dietary requirements. I used the swimming pool and sauna (2 mins offsite) which was a fantastic venue. I loved the central location of the hotel and I will most definitely return.
