This hotel is always my first choice when staying in Birmingham as it is away from the city centre and has plenty of places to eat nearby The staff are always so friendly and polite I had excellent customer service at my recent check-in, there was a queue at reception and as a regular at the hotel, the guy on reception who knows me from previous stays had already checked me in, he called me forward whilst checking someone else in and gave me my keycard! Excellent customer service

Average place. Nothing bad, nothing exceptional. I did have a somewhat rude person at check in but to be fair, when i switched to someone else that new person was great. Location was good too.

Good location to all the attractions and venues with everything in walking distance. Staff was great and hotel was modern and clean. Breakfast was great. The only negative was the city itself is not what it used to be a decade ago, but going for a concert or event is fine.

The sofa bed and mattress were extremely uncomfortable, I finally got to sleep on the floor. Elastic on frame was sagging so you bent over the metal central section and you could feel every spring of the thin mattress. It also sagged into the middle. It was too late to do anything as my daughters were already asleep in the main bed, reception knew what I was going to say, so I’m not the only one who has suffered with this. Big day ahead was really affected by my lack of sleep

No good enough Hilton!!!

Don’t even think this will change anything but here goes. Arrival and check in ok. Room was freezing cold. Turned air conditioning off. Couldn’t open a window. So we were uncomfortable getting ready for my birthday treat seeing Stevie Wonder At night too hot as duvet winter thickness and room was too cold so had a on and off sleep. Bed was squeaky as well. Sink in bathroom was ridiculous. Edge nearest to us was so wide couldn’t really reach over to wash my face or clean teeth!! Breakfast was horrible. Dried up over cooked scrambled eggs and some kind of potato balls which tasted of reused oil! Urg No lounge area at all for an evening drink. All staff were pleasant but they are working in a hotel which is sub standard Not good enough Hilton!!

The whole overall experience was good. The staff were polite and professional, although there was one occasion when a staff member used the main lifts with bin bags when they should have used the service lift. We didn’t sleep too well due to the room temperature and the poor and uncomfortable pillows

Overnight stay. Reception staff efficient and friendly. Breakfast good but wished they did poached eggs - staff friendly at breakfast Toilet noisy as continued to flush had to contact reception twice but it still happened Carpet wasn’t clean. Found 2 hair grips and hair on carpet No fridge in room, would have been useful Not happy about having to pay extra for parking in view of the cost of the hotel room should have been included Very expensive compared to last time at the same hotel

A Sudden Change of Plans

I had to make a change of plans for a visit to Birmingham owing to the illness of friends I had planned to stay with . I knew of this hotel and was impressed with the way it had been converted from an office building. My room was very comfortable and well cleaned. Reception and service were welcoming and friendly.
