Hotel undergoing renovation. No lightbulbs in the room lamps, none of the electrical outlets worked, and on check-in, the lobby was full of police looking for someone, and they stopped us and patted one of my guests down, although we did not meet the profile of the individual they were looking for. Would like a refund.

Very quiet, great location, Breakfast was a WONDERFUL spread My only grievance: staff/house keeping The front desk at the time of check in was very friendly; however, the check out person today was not and borderline rude. Also, even though check out was at noon, I was disturbed 3 times by housekeeping. I told THE SAME person 3 times that I would be gone by noon, but she kept coming by every 30-45 minutes and disrupting my sleep.

Great hotel

Can't say enough good things about this hotel. Clean, modern, with excellent service. Our room was huge, and included a nice kitchen area. The bed was very comfortable. The hot breakfast is a nice touch.

Not the best stay this time

This was my second stay at this location, I observed the ceiling fan in my room having layers of dust on it, bathroom ceiling paint chipped, bathroom tub constanly dripping from the faucet, lamps inner lining chipped etc,( I have pictures)I requested a late check out of 1 hour to attend my Grandsons 2yr bday event on Sunday only to be granted 30 minutes ( Per the front desk clerk) as It was communicated to me that the head cleaning personnel communicated this to her, I asked to speak with the individual who granted me the 30 minutes but was told "No", I asked the front desk clerk was she the manager and she stated "no the manager doesn't work on weekends" I explained my "why for late checkout" to the front desk clerk but it was apparent that she did not want to hear it as I asked for her name, the cleaning leads name and the Managers name, she provided me her first name and the cleaning ladies first name only and the Managers card but that was it, I wasnt getting anywhere with the conversation, thus I left the counter and headed back to my room..the clerk sarcasticly stated something to me while I was walking away as there was another individual behind me in which I thought was unprofessional..I did not respond as I did not want to get kicked out of the hotel and I checked out at the regular time (12pm).Out of all of the stays during family or my business travels, this by far was the most interesting......and I am saying this in the nicest way as there is more to this story!

Good property overall, but our room had a noisy under-window HVAC unit that woke me up in the middle of the night 2 nights in a row because it randomly started to chatter, sounding like mini chopper. If you turn it off, you start to feel cold. I also don't like the bathroom curtain which maintains moisture & doesn't feel good when it touches your skin. The TV has no means for casting from your phone/tablet so you can see this like Netflix/Hulu/etc. so you're stuck watching whatever shows that you don't want to see on the TV channels at that time. Ultimately though, it's comfy with the room structure as all Homewood Suites are, but it could use a nice redesign. Breakfast was great as usual & gets you started on your day. I would stay again but they could do a bit better with room facelifts.
