The staff were excellent and tried to do their best to help so kudos to them but unfortunately this particular room left much to be desired. Unfortunately I had an accessible room (which I do not require) which meant the shower was basically the whole bathroom so water was everywhere. Literally. The cooling in the room didn’t work either - they were able to find a small portable fan to help but unfortunately it didn’t do much. I asked to change rooms but the property was sold out. I could not stay the evening and found a different property as it was too hot here.

Great Find in Birmingham

Booked this hotel at short notice, and I am so glad that I did. The hotel is in prime location. Everything was spotless. Decent breakfast options. Would highly recommend and this will be my go to hotel when next in Birmingham.

Generally, the room was very clean and tidy. The shower worked extremely well - very easy to control. The room tea and coffee facilities, for a £240 room, were a joke! Almost unusable... The cups tiny, and no milk. I guarantee the person who selected that machine wouldn't use it themselves! And from green viewpoint, why have a hotel fully of fridge's burning power, that are mostly empty?

Comfortable 4 star but staff the bar!

Nicely decorated hotel in ideal location for Utilita arena event I was attending. Room was comfortable and super clean. 2 things to mention - after the concert finished lots of guests went straight to the hotel bar. Only 1 person working the bar & a big queue so I ended going back out of the hotel to a bar on the street to buy a nightcap. My feet were killing me by this point so this was especially irritating. Have seen this at other event area hotels - knowing therell be an influx when the event finishes but not staffing the bar adequately. Secondly this hotel is on a very busy street with lots of bars and nightclubs. The music was noticeable til gone 1am so pack earplugs.
