Great stay and excellent room service menu options! Sticky toffee pudding was specifically fantastic. Great staff and amenities. My facial treatment at the spa on the ground floor was amazing. Thank you Chloe! I highly recommend the treatments there, and I'd love to return for another. I believe I was staying in an accessible room, which is of no issue to me, but I did not require one. Location was so convenient: 5 mins walk from New Street station and about 10 mins from Moor Street station. Shopping, food and entertainment all nearby within walking distance. I attended a concert at Utilita arena, which was only 15mins walk from the hotel. The only slightly unfortunate thing was that my excema started with the bathroom hand soap. My hands were irritated after the first night. The shower products were absolutely fine. But great experience overall and I'd consider a future stay.

Too expensive for what you get

Very comfortable room and good quality breakfast, but they couldn't cope with their guest numbers so cooked breakfast took to long to arrive before having to leave. Also, the spa facilities have very limited opening hours so were shut by the time i arrived and didn't open until after i had to leave when we chose the hotel partly to have those facilities. Too expensive for not being able to make full use of facilities or breakfast due to inability to serve people.

Malmasison is one of the best hotels in Birmingham. On thi occasion, the price was an absoulute bargain too. the parking discount did not work though.
