The location was excellent, and the room was clean and spacious. There were, however, several things that made the stay uncomfortable, especially for 200 a night. The mattress was very hard, and the pillows were not comfortable either. The biggest problem was the AC. The window unit AC did not properly cool the room, so we had trouble sleeping due to being hot all night. The bathroom is so small that a full-grown man has to sit sideways to use the toilet. We will not stay here again.
we had a nice visit to Black Mountain. Beautiful little town, and we came to the area to fly fish. This property was quaint and very close to the center of Black Mountain, within very close walking distance to several great restaurants and all of the shops in town. My only issue was the property was slightly dated, and the straight it on at first was a little rough looking. But, after being there a few hours at all seemed quite nice.
My young adult daughter and I loved our stay in Suite 1. Full kitchen & spacious living area. The location is perfect to walk to town. We would definitely stay there again!
This spacious studio apartment, with a glorious view of the mountains, presented a couple problems for me. There was everything I needed for my stay and more, but my aging knees were challenged by the stairs to the porch and the under-sized bathroom facility. The Roku tv had a great picture but some instructions would be welcome.
Quaint efficiency apartment. Overall good stay with no significant problems. Bathroom is very tight (especially the toilet area). Could be an issue for larger/taller people. Enjoyed the tea selections provided. Very convenient to walk entire town.
Easy walk to all the shops and places to eat. Enjoyed our stay very much. My parents live in Black Mountain and it was a quick 5 minute drive to their retirement village.
This was a wonderful place to stay for the few days I was in Black Mountain. The suite was clean and comfortable with every amenity that I needed. Located on a quiet street within walking distance of downtown (with a nice view of the mountains), the property proved an ideal spot for exploring the town. I would definitely stay here again, and would highly recommend it to anyone else interested!
