A lovely cottage for a relaxing stay in the Blue Mountains. It was clean, well equipped and had everything we needed. The wood fire was great as was the heated bathroom floor. Short walk to the town centre for extra supplies or browsing shops. Highly recommended.
What a gorgeous secluded cottage, which was very warm and toasty during a chilly weekend. Has everything you might need to self cater in the kitchen, toasty warm, and the heated floor in bathroom is divine! Tea, coffee, S&P, oil and some spices are welcomed, along with very clean linen supplied. Trains/highway barely noticeable in winter. We could happily stay there week, along with our pooch who was very happy with the safe and fully enclosed yard, and doggie paraphernalia for his stay.
Photos donât give it justice - this is a lovely cute property set well back from the road and moments from Blackheath village
Furniture is also very comfortable - we loved it
We LOVED this home! It was great for two adults and two kids. And even better, it's pet-friendly. Walking distance to lots of shops in Blackheath.
Very well-appointed and some games for family nights. There are even a few picnic bags available. The beds were comfy. We felt really comfortable here and were sad whem we had to leave.
Only minor thing was the check in process. The company that looks after the property requires uploading sensitive documents to their website. You can opt out, but then have to visit their offices in Leura during working hours. Not a huge deal, but different from typical holiday rentals.
I would recommend this home and would 100% stay here again!
We loved the Mountain Den - it was such a peaceful break from Sydney, with shops and restaurants down the road, everything we needed for a 6 night stay - and the added benefit of being able to bring our furry family members.
The house was exactly as described and was well set up, with everything you need in the kitchen to stay in and cook.
Walking distance to the Porters Passage walking trail which was a great hike!
Will definitely stay again.
The Mountain Den was everything it said it would be. It was super cosy and warm but also roomy. Lovely quiet location and a nice walk to Blackheath.
Bathroom floors had underfloor heating which was a treat.
The nicest surprise I have to say weâre the ladies at the Blue Mountains Escape who run the listing. My car wouldnât start on the day we were to come up. I half expected a â sorry too badâ but they were so accommodating. It just summed up the whole Blackheath experience, people who have time and are nice unlike the majority of interactions Sydney! So refreshing.
The Mountain Den was a delight, the amenities were as advertised and was very comfortable for our stay. Unfortunately it rained for most of our stay in the Blue Mountains but the accommodation was our saviour from the rain. Very pet friendly and rear yard was fully secure. The attention to detail for guest needs was very evident with many board games, books and Netfilx was appreciated. Highly recommend.
the property and stay was great very good charming place we adventured out and enjoyed eating in. The only very little consideration is some condiments and coffee. No biggy just that sauce is good with pies.
