don’t bother

we got there and they said they didn’t even book through hotels.com so we didn’t even get a room and had to find somewhere else👍but from what it seemed it was a run down hotel with lazy slow staff. the guy behind reception took half an hour to come out even though he was only behind a door and we rang the bell 4 times. he came with a mouthful of food after somebody else working there had to go and get him . he answered the phone whilst we were talking to him and didn’t even apologise about the mistake👍

When we arrived the staff was helpful and friendly. When we got our key we made our way to our room through the bar turned left through the fire door and we was greeted with the smell of Mold foundry and a mixed in with smell of sewage. There was stains on the ceiling Mold on the skirting boards the carpet was not fitted right. The view out of our room window was of laundry trolleys and broken furniture the yard gat was hanging off. The windows was filthy Our room was number6 and it wasn’t a good room my wife went to hang her clothes up and there was wallpaper hanging off the ceiling in the wardrobe. We stayed the 1 night and booked out. The manager David went to check the room came back said he couldn’t smell anything as he was bunged up he offered us another vroom but we declined it as another couple the night before had refused 1 room got another and they both was dirty and they was demanding a full refund. We are still waiting for a refund for the second night we had booked. We moved the the Imperial hotel

Dear Bluewater Hotel Management, I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding my recent stay at your hotel, which was deeply disappointing and far from the experience I expected. Upon arrival, the room we were given had a strong and unpleasant smell of cigarette smoke, despite your hotel being advertised as non-smoking. This made the space feel unclean and uncomfortable from the start. To make matters worse, during our stay, we witnessed violent and aggressive behaviour from other guests. This created a chaotic and unsafe environment, which deeply distressed my child and made us feel extremely uncomfortable for the duration of our visit. As a paying customer, I expected a clean, safe, and family-friendly environment — none of which were delivered. Given the distress caused and the lack of basic standards, I am requesting a full refund for my stay. Please treat this matter with urgency and respond promptly with how you intend to resolve this issue, as well as what actions you are taking to ensure such incidents do not happen to future guests. We just had a two night stay. You get what you pay for. If you want cheap for a couple of nights this is fine. The staff where very accommodating, it's not there fault the hotel is so run down. They all seem to be in two places at once. The main receptionist was lovely 🌹. The food is good and a variety of choices. But sorry wouldn't stay there again.

Was decent, though the first 2 nights, had a lot of youngsters staying ( kids football teams ), and there behaviour was a disgrace, running up and down stairs, knocking on doors etc.

Great stay.

We had great service from walking in till we left, room was tidy and clean. No free parking. Also have to pay £5 to use the pool & jacuzzi, but you do get it all to yourself which is amazing. The phone lines do not work through Google or their web page but reception have details. The couple upstairs kept us awake from 1am-5:30am banging, singing, shouting, screaming and arguing, they didn’t remove them once despite telling them 4 times. We got another night stay free due to this. So yes I’d happily go back.

We loved our stay at the Bluewater- GM and other staff were really friendly and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Only little nag id have is a sign needs to be put on the stairs next to the lift that one or two of the bottom of the steps are either broken or cracked in the middle, nearly went flying, luckily im only 27 so id be fine if i fell but worried about any elderly going down them. Will definitely be booking again which we have with my grandparents in august! :)

This was a fab place to stay for a visit in Blackpool, family friendly with private pool hire!! We hired the pool for an hour and was a hit for my children ages 1 and 3 but it was fab for all ages!! The games room was a nice touch but would say it's more for older children and adults, fab view and over all a great experience. The staff were all amazing and very accommodating thank you so much for such a great experience!!! I would definitely recommend this place I'll also add it's amazing value for money. Only down side is the lift was waiting for repair and there's quite a few stairs but what can you do. Amazing value for money!
