This cute little house worked perfect for us! Kitchen had everything we needed, outdoor seating to enjoy the sunshine, laundry was helpful, and the beds were comfortable. Maybe less full pillows, but otherwise great. Modern and clean! Loved the photo of the dog in Lane Stadium! Close to restaurants, grocery, theater, and Virginia Tech!

Great space, comfy beds, very small but perfect for an overnight stay. My only complaint, I think the firepit in the photo is a bit misleading and for the money I don't think guest should have to break down beds.

Peaceful weekend at the Tranquil Retreat

Staying at the Tranquil Retreat has been so much nicer than staying at a hotel. Plenty of space for 3 adults and we really appreciated the upgraded amenities, including the wonderfully comfortable beds. Great, well stocked kitchen, very easy to prepare a meal and nice to have a washer and dryer. This is our second stay here to visit our daughter, and we will certainly be back.

You feel like you've walked into a Joanna Gaines home and, yes, tranquil is an accurate description for it. It might be small, but it has everything you need for a long weekend in Blacksburg.

Nice respite within minutes of campus

My daughter and I stayed here for two nights while she was attending a sports camp at Va Tech. Nicely remodeled, quaint cabin less than 10 minutes from campus. Would totally rent again if/when we return to Blacksburg.

Cutest spot in Blacksburg!

Great stay after a rough start

We arrived late on a Saturday night only to find we had the wrong lockbox code. We called and texted, and reached a nice young lady who immediately came to our rescue. The tiny house (500 sq ft) was lovely, and well maintained. It was just enough for a pleasant trip.
