South of Alsace, our cottage is located on the 1st and 2nd floor of the owner's house, with an independent entrance, (stairs, no elevator).
We offer you :
- a well-equipped kitchen
-a bathroom with shower and toilet, cupboard and mirror, hair dryer
-a bedroom with desk, wall cabinet, bed 160x190, bedside tables
-a living room with table, 5 chairs, buffet with dishes, television, DVD player, sofa bed quality for sleeping 140x190, coffee table
-a SAS with washing machine, dryer, utensils and cleaning products, iron and ironing board.
During sunny days, you have a garden area with barbecue, out of sight.

We are ideally located in the center of a small town, in a quiet street, close to all shops, 5 minutes walk from the bus stop, 7 kms from the Swiss and German borders, 5-10 minutes from the airport. Basel-Mulhouse airport, 4 kms from the nearest train station, near the Alsatian Little Camargue, Casino Barriere, Basel (Switzerland) or Mulhouse with their many museums, zoo and botanical garden, less than one time of the Alsatian vineyard, the German Black Forest, Europa-Park, the Vosges, Jura foothills ....
Our situation at the crossroads of the 3 countries offers you the opportunity to discover in a single stay the specificities of each.
During the Advent season (December), the Christmas markets of Basel (authentic and artisanal), Friborg and other German cities, (to you grilled sausages, hot chestnuts and mulled wine), and the famous markets Alsatian (traditional or themed according to the cities) will amaze you.

Our cottage is non-smoking, not suitable for pets.

Beautiful home very friendly host

I had a very pleasant stay with this host. The apartment was private with a entry way separate from the main house. Host was extremely helpful in explaining how to get around using the buses and even providing a bus schedule. Beautiful garden at the home and surrounding area/ buildings within walking distance are very historic and cute. I would highly recommended ataying here. Once you get to Saint Louis train station by bus or uber it is a short ride to Basel SBB. Uber takes around 15min to Sanit Louis.

Great property in a great location!

We had such an amazing stay here. The property was very clean and had everything we needed to make it feel like home. Its proximity to the downtown area made it very convenient for us to walk to the store or bakery. The hosts were extremely kind and answered any questions we had. Highly recommend.

Famiy weekend

We spent 2 nights at this gite and were very impressed by the facilities provided, the cleanliness, the attention to detail. The couple live in the ground floor and the flat is on the first and 2nd floors. You can have 2 bedrooms on the 2nd floor plus a very comfortable sofa bed on the first floor. There is plenty of information on what to do in the area and it is well situated for the airport and all that is on offer in this beautiful area. You can park at the property. The owners are extremely welcoming and accomodating, this is a lovely place to stay.

Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Marie Christine hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und uns den Aufenthalt mit kleinen Törtchen, selbstgemachten Marmeladen und Betthupferl versüßt. Die Wohnung ist über mehrere Etagen angelegt, alles sehr geräumig, stilvoll und mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Die Küche ist groß und lässt keine Wünsche offen, ideal für uns Selbstverpfleger. Es fehlte uns an nichts, wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder. Danke für die herzliche Gastfreundschaft!

Un séjour de 6 nuits particulièrement centré sur Bâle et son carnaval. Gite de grande qualité, accueil parfait, grande disponibilité et grande amabilité. Certes, il y a des escaliers ( cuisine et salle à manger salon au premier ; chambres et salle de bain au second) mais rien d'insurmontable. Belle découverte nous concernant.

Guter Ausgangspunkt für Weihnachtsmarktbesuche in 3 Ländern. Sehr schöne Wohnung. Jahreszeitlich dekoriert. Wir wurden verwöhnt mit "Breddele" ; selbstgemachter Marmelade und anderen Kleinigkeiten. Selten so eine schöne geräumige und gut ausgestattete Küche gesehen ! Gerne mal wieder.

Idyllisch und großzügig

Wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Zum Empfang gab es einen selbstgebackenen Kuchen, Marmelade und Tomaten aus eigener Ernte. Der liebevoll gestaltete Garten lädt zum Verweilen, Entdecken und Entspannen ein. Auch in der Wohnung fehlt es an nichts. Es gibt viele kleine Extras, die nicht selbstverständlich sind und den Aufenthalt angenehm machen. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen.

Hervorragende Ferienwohnung

Wir wurden sehr , sehr nett empfangen . Auf dem Küchentisch stand sehr leckerer selbstgemachter Kuchen und im Kühlschrank selbstzubereitete Marmelade . Die Wohnung ist überaus groß und die Küche ein Traum . Die Gastgeber sind sehr zuvorkommend und nett ! Wir werden auf jeden Fall nochmal dort hinfahren!

Eine schöne geräumige Ferienwohnung mit klasse Ausstattung und sehr netten Gastleuten. Sehr gepflegtes und liebevoll gestaltetes Haus mit wunderbarem Garten mit Terrasse, gute Lage. Der nahe Flugverkehr ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Jederzeit wieder ein Besuch wert.

Wunderschönes Haus

Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet, die Küche ist mit allen notwendigen Utensilien ausgestattet und sogar mehr, bequeme Betten, nicht weit von Basel. Im Dorf gibt es Bäckerei und großer Supermarkt (sehr günstige Preise und tolle Lebensmittelauswahl) Sehr nette Hausherren Tolles Willkommensgeschenk :) Vielen Dank! Vorsicht! Viele Stufen, sogar eine im Bad. Nicht günstig für Senioren mit Gehbehinderung. Immer wieder gerne!

Zeer net en aangenaam verblijf

We hebben 3 dagen in deze accommodatie gezeten. De eigenaren zijn heel erg vriendelijk. De accommodatie is superschoon. Daarnaast is alles zeer goed verzorgd. Alles is aanwezig, handdoeken, bedden opgemaakt maar ook koffie en thee, eigengemaakte jam, lekkere chocolaatjes etc. Teveel om op te noemen. De accommodatie ligt heel dicht bij Basel, op ongeveer 10 min rijden. Kortom, zeer tevreden hierover.
