The cabin was nice. There were issues with the heat on the lower level and it was cold. The foundation is crumbling and sliding off the mountain side. This cabin ultimately will end up at the bottom of the mountain. It is very unsafe and needs major work to be able to be occupied. The rental company does not want to talk about it so I will say this...This place is a major liability and if not address, someone could die staying here.

This is a pic showing the retaining wall sliding out and down the mountain. This is supposed to be under the stone patio. The patio is no longer supported and you can feel it flexing under your feet. I weight 210 pounds and it moves with just me.

Picture shows the 1" crack where the stone patio is pulling away from the house and going down the mountain. This patio will collapse eventually.

Perfect mountain getaway!

This cabin has it all, you won’t be disappointed! Breathtaking views of the mountains and lake, beautiful sunrises especially. Spent so much time in the hot tub, the lower level game room, and just enjoying quality family time in this perfectly appointed cabin. The room set up is ideal, we loved all the extra screened in outdoor areas/balcony’s off each room. Expect to drive about 15 min just to get up/down the mountain though, but it became second nature after awhile. We went white water rafting, kayaking, hiking…all so much fun!

I can’t brag enough

First: the view from this home is absolutely ridiculous. We spent a lot of time staring it. Amazing. Second: the property managers were also absolutely ridiculous in an amazing way, probably the best management company I've ever dealt with and we've done vrbo for 20 years. House: Thank goodness it looks like a cabin and not some modern white washed grey toned box. It's the exact perfect compliment to the outdoor view, it's wood is warm, the tile and counters were warm and woodsy, the appliances were TOP OF THE LINE, every item you need to cook was there....comfy furniture, fun gameroom and lots of deck space. Beds were comfy. Shower in the master was yummy. We cant say enough about this home. Town: Nearby blueridge was quaint, clean and friendly. We hiked, tubed and drove over to Dawsonville to race 60 mph go karts. The area offers a lot of activities and good food. Anything bad to report: No....not even close. Thank you for the amazing stay and treating us so well. We will be back if you will have us!

Peaceful getaway

What a beautiful home. Soaking up the stunning views on the balcony while enjoying the hot tub was by far our favorite thing to do. The cabin was loaded with everything you need. Game room was our kids favorite area. The home was very clean and well maintained. We would come back in a heartbeat!

Fun, restful weekend with beautiful views and a wonderful place to stay! Should showcase all of the games and fun in the basement more as it would be a blast for families with teenagers and younger. Missing absolutely nothing!

Breathtaking view

The house has everything including extra blankets and pillows, and a well-stocked kitchen with spices, good cooking knives, and Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances. Besides the regular amenities, we enjoyed the fireplaces, the arcade games, the pool table, the screened-in porches, and the hot tub under the stars. Having coffee at sunrise on the deck was breathtaking, and a great way to start the day. Something to be aware of is the drive to the house includes a 3-mile narrow, gravel road with a lot of switchbacks, so you have to be careful. But once you’re at the house, it is easy to relax and enjoy everything it has to offer. It’s hands-down, one of the nicest rentals we’ve ever stayed in.

Perfect

My family of four absolutely loved our stay here. This cabin has everything you would want for a vacation in the mountains - it's beautifully decorated with plenty of space to relax and unwind, inside and out. We especially loved family game nights in the game room, smores by the firepit and relaxing in the hot tub with views for days. Thank you for a lovely stay - we will definitely be back!

Exceptional property and host

Property- The cabin is exactly as advertised on the website. As usual, the pictures do not do justice of the amazing views. I have always believed that if you are going to the mountains, then you should stay in the mountains. This cabin definitely qualifies. It’s worth the short drive from downtown Blue Ridge. The kitchen was well equipped with commercial grade appliances. The highlight of the trip was watching the Geminid meteor shower from the hot tub! We will definitely stay here again. Host- Melissa was an excellent host and very accommodating. Sadly, I had a friend pass away the week before our trip. I called Melissa late on Wednesday afternoon and asked if we could adjust our dates to attend his service. Since there were no conflicts with other bookings, she made the changes and was very sympathetic with our situation. I am very thankful for her kindness.

Great Home Great View

Beautiful home in gated neighborhood within close distance to downtown and many activities. The well appointed home was even better than described. The views from this home are nothing short of spectacular. The game room was where we spent a good deal of time. Hot tub at night under the stars was incredible. Relaxing indoors and outdoors, this home did not disappoint.
