This was our 3rd annual aunts and cousins girl trip. It was amazing. Lots of room for everyone and we loved the location.

Overall it was a good time. The house was awesome, clean and well taken care of. The road from the main road to the house is up hill and not for Motorcycles. The drive way of the house was extremely steep and not for Motorcycles. Lucky for us we found a storage facility near the house to keep our motorcycles while we were there!The area of the house was quite. We did have an issue with the garage door and it was taken care of by the next day.Overall it was a great house and a quite place to stay!

Family holiday reunion

We enjoyed a family weekend at Christmas Lodge. We had members of our family traveling from CA, MO, MA, NY and GA. We experienced an unfortunate check in process. The cabin was not cleaned prior to our arrival. Duy (our host) said there was a mix up with the cleaning schedule. There were 2 cleaners who had just started cleaning the cabin when we arrived. Duy was very apologetic and arranged for a 2nd cleaning crew to assist and he also offered a partial refund due to the cabin not being ready. Although we did have to finish doing some laundry ourselves we still had a great time. Duy did everything he could to make our stay enjoyable. I would note that the bedrooms in basement our connected to each other forcing you to walk through one bedroom to get to the bunk room. This was not ideal as we had adults sleeping on the lower level. I would also point out that the driveway is very steep. Even during a light rain we found the driveway rather slippery. The overall cabin has a great layout for a large group and plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked although it would have been nice to have a few extra garbage bags and dishwasher pods. All in all it was a very nice cabin with a kind and responsive host. We would consider renting again in the future.

Family Vacation

This home has a wonderful layout whereas bedrooms are spread out nicely & quiet time can be had by a sleeping baby & yet teens can have fun in lower level.. Our family had a blast & easy access to downtown & local stores when needed. Much to do in this pretty home setting.

Family get away

This cabin is beautiful! It had plenty of room for 8 adults with space to be on your own if you wanted. The kitchen was well stocked, we definitely had any item that was needed. We will be returning- next time with the grandkids. This is a family/kid friendly cabin and the host was wonderful at communicating through out our visit.

Beautiful property...loved the experience so much, looking to buy/build our own cabin in the mountains as a once in while escape. Though there was a cleaning team hiccup, Duy was incredibly quick to respond and expeditious to resolve...Thank you! **Less than 5 stars for property cleanliness is based on my standards, which some may consider too high for a property with extensive turnover and had nothing to do with the aforementioned cleaning team hiccup. Improvement opportunities feedback forwarded to property management for review. Visit highly encouraged!

Blue Ridge Family Fun

From finalizing booking to our saying goodbye to this fantastic home and it’s surroundings made all of us very happy. The open space and bedrooms gave each of our 4 families privacy but allowed the 4 cousins and 8 adults opportunities for great family meal times and indoor/ outdoor activies ( baking birthday cupcakes, enjoying s’mores by the fire, dance parties, and a lot of fierce competition around the pool table) h ! We also took advantage of shops in Blue Ridge, hiking to a waterfall and tubing in the river. We highly recommend the Christmas Lodge for gathering far flung family members together and creating special memories for all generations đŸ’„

Summer Fun in Blue Ridge

Beautiful, secluded home with amazing views! The downstairs game room was our favorite hang-out. The video game console takes some figuring out as the instructions on the YouTube video are not entirely accurate. The kitchen is well appointed and all of the bedrooms were nice. There are two issues to be aware of. First, this home is secluded in the Blue Ridge Mountains, and there is at least 1 bear that has discovered this place is a food source. It had destroyed the bear storage box where the trash was stored before we arrived, and it came into the garage when we had it open and unattended for a few minutes to steal our garbage during our stay. The second concern is also mentioned several times in the home’s guest book. There are many scorpions in the home. The owner has glue mats down in several locations to capture them, but we had several encounters in bathrooms and in a bed. However, we had a wonderful time and would stay here again, but if anyone in your party has phobias of bears or creepy crawly things, it might be a concern.

Amazing property

Could not be happier with this property. We had a few minor issues (Outside trash cans full at beginning of week, missing pool balls,) but as soon as we let the property manager know we had a response within minutes and the issue fixed within the hour. Could not have asked for better customer service. We will for sure be back!

Family Fun!!

Wonderful location and home! Grounds are prettier than any we’ve ever visited. Very comfortable and lots to do inside. The quaint little town of Blue Ridge is a very quick drive. There is usually something fun happening for the whole family. The shops are a real plus. My only negative would be for a house that accommodates many people, the main living area is not adequate. There is seating for only 5 people. Two chairs and a sofa. The owner was very helpful and accommodating, and when we had a minor sink issue, a really nice young man came right away to take care of it. I would wholeheartedly recommend this listing.

Nice Large Vacation Home

The Christmas Lodge suited our get together for our family of 13 extremely well. With 3 floors we could spread out yet easily spend time together in the main living area and the nice kitchen and huge dining table. The home was clean and the beds were all very comfortable. We all enjoyed the pool table and jacuzzi and the Arcade Game was a huge hit with the guys. We had a bit of AC issue but contacted Duy and he was very responsive and had an AC man out within 30 minutes of our call. The location is great - close to tubing on the Toccoa River and boating on Lake Blue Ridge and Lake Chatuge. We would definitely recommend this home to others.

Beautiful spacious cabin

This was the perfect cabin for our family vacation. It was very spacious and clean. The beds were all very comfortable. Nice kitchen with large dining room table. We had three toddler grandchildren in our party and the cabin was well suited for children - had a high chair, pack and play,, gates on stairs, etc Wrap around porch was very nice. Mountain Views are pretty. There is a lot to do just hanging around the cabin. Would love to do another family vacation at this cabin.
