My husband and I stayed the weekend to celebrate our anniversary. It was perfect for two (or four). Our favorite part of the house was the porch swing at night listening to nature without having to worry about getting bit by bugs. The jacuzzi was a nice feature. The house was very clean. We went shopping at the local Walmart to get some food which was not too far from the house (about 13-15min).

Beautiful

My husband and I stayed here for a short getaway. This was our first time using VRBO. Melissa, the host, made the process of everything so easy and her recommendation for restaurants near by were wonderful! The property itself was easy to access, very well kept, and had beautiful scenery. We spent most of our time in the big comfy swing on the screened in back porch just enjoying the scenery.

Perfect mountain getaway!

We booked Redwood Retreat for a long weekend getaway, and we could not be happier with the experience! Its convenient location makes it a great home base for adventures in Blue Ridge and Ellijay. However, with all of the great amenities, you may find yourself wanting to spend all your time relaxing at the cabin!The cabin itself is a gem. While located in an easily accessible neighborhood, the wooded surroundings provide privacy and make it easy to forget you have neighbors. It's an ideal blend of indoor-outdoor living space; we loved the ability to enjoy the hot tub, read a book on the huge, comfortable porch swing, and then prepare a meal in the fully stocked kitchen.The cabin was spotlessly clean, and check-in/check-out procedures were a breeze. The host was easy to contact and provided us with great recommendations for local restaurants and attractions.We were so happy with the experience, we even decided to extend our stay! If you're looking for a private mountain getaway with all the comforts of home, you will not be disappointed.

Birthday Trip

My husband and I had a night away for his 30th birthday. First over night trip in 3.5 years. We were a little disappointed with things. When we first arrived, everything seemed nice. We were really excited for the outdoor atmosphere, but unfortunately we had to spend 45 minutes walking under the porch, throughout the house, and property to try & get the outside lights to work. After about 45 minutes, we’re only able to get a section of light working; the host was very responsive with messages and gave us troubleshooting tips, but unfortunately didn’t work. The hot tub was the focus of our time, but unfortunately were unable to enjoy it due to an awful smell. There was slimy particles coming from the jets and it smelled as if something had died. We just sat on the edge & barely put our feet in, so that was disappointing. We enjoyed the view & serenity of the cabin location, but, unfortunately would not book again there.

Location was awesome and the weather and views were gorgeous spent 3 days and 2 nights and enjoyed the cabin immensely. Enjoyed a night by the firepit and then relaxed in the hot tub. Watched movies and we had everything we needed right there.Will definitely be back

Anniversary Trip

We stayed at this beautiful cabin for our anniversary and absolutely loved it!! The cabin was perfect and the location was great. The best thing overall was the communication with the host, Melissa. When we had to contact her, she responded immediately and was very helpful in making our stay much better than we ever could have expected! This cabin is amazing and we are looking forward to booking another visit again in the future.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming cabin! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how cozy and clean it was. The interior had a warm, inviting atmosphere, and every detail felt thoughtfully arranged for maximum comfort. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the living space was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.Getting to the cabin was a breeze—clear directions made it easy to navigate, and the drive was pleasant, with no tricky or confusing turns. The location was peaceful yet convenient, offering a great balance of seclusion and accessibility, a 4X4 is not needed but do drive slowly and carefully up the mountain watching out of others who may be walking or driving down or up the mountain. A highlight of my stay was the host. She was incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with, ensuring we had everything we needed for a smooth and enjoyable experience. She even provided helpful tips about local attractions/places to eat, which made our trip even more memorable.Overall, we highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with great communication and a welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be returning!

Wonderful location and great area

We stayed here for 3 days and absolutely loved it! The house location was perfect for all events near by. We went to the apple orchard, horse back riding, mini golf, train riding, and experienced great restaurants in down town Blue Ridge! We will definitely return again!
