I was here for 1 week. Mistake. Toilet wouldn’t flush, sink wouldn’t drain. Housekeeping never came, requested often. Ran out of towels. Stayed here last year for a couple of days. It was noticeably more run down in 1 year. Sonesta will fail if they don’t change course soon.

The hotel is older, but very clean. Our coffee pot and alarm clock were left unplugged, but easy to fix. NOTE: Hotel charges $100 on temporary hold in case you cause damage in the room. ALSO, they do not provide continental breakfast as noted on Hotels site.

Corporate management must do an inspection of this property. Mildew smell. Air-conditioners in all rooms need new filters - including the gym. Carpets in hallways & rooms are filthy. Sanitation in the gym is non-existent. Fixing the machines in the laundry room was blamed on corporate - out of order since 12/25/25! Plumbing issues in bathrooms are not addressed with a licensed plumber. Overall maintenance is not addressed including a dehumidifier issue on the first floor blasting air into the hallway to rooms. Outside contracts with professionals are needed since inside maintenance is not fixing problems and constant blaming of corporate dragging their feet is insulting. Fix the issues. Though the pool looks inviting, noting all the other sanitation issues, I wouldn't go in it because who knows if it is properly maintained.
