Stunning venue

From the time we drove up the ramp into the car park all we kept on saying was “wow”. An absolutely beautiful hotel with quirky features, but not letting us forget the misery former inmates endured whilst there. The two nights we spent there were brilliant. The room was spotless, every detail thought about. Actually memorable experience we will never ever forget. Thank you Bodmin Jail.

Hotel fantastic, atmosphere and location brilliant. Restaurant for dinner was unfortunately sub par for the cost. My wife's starter was not great, not hot enough and too pickly tasting. The apple crumble, was not an apple crumble, it was a sultana tart, and I dont really like sultanas! The breakfast however, amazing.

If you're thinking about it? Book it now!!

After wanting to visit for a long time... I can only say.... I wish we had stayed sooner!! The staff were amazing. Reception were extremely welcoming. The restaurant staff were both friendly and accomodating. The bar staff were fantastic!! We even got a little historical tour, conducted at around midnight by one of the members of bar staff.
