At low tide, the water is shallow, providing ideal conditions for swimming and beginner’s water sports. This is a perfect family beach for all ages. A few pubs, restaurants, and village shops can be found in the nearby villages of Elmer and Middleton-on-Sea.
Just a short drive away are the nearby towns of Bognor Regis and Littlehampton, which offer even more choice. Discover an area steeped in history by visiting Chichester’s 12th-century cathedral. It is a cosmopolitan vibrant and friendly city proudly combining two thousand years of heritage with a lively lifestyle. Enjoy Arundel’s historic castle and Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, Fontwell Park Racecourse and, of course, the world-famous Goodwood Estate, which holds the Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival.
