Excellent vacation rental!! The picture window was a wonderful place to sit and drink coffee. Host answered any questions. Beautiful and cozy home. Tons of snow and was an easy drive up. Would definitely rent again.
The visit was a delight. Itâs beautiful, well designed house with ample space, beautiful views, an ample porch and nice bedrooms and bathrooms. The fireplaces are wonderful, the seating is comfortable and cozy. The two separate living room and reading room was a nice surprise. The kitchen was well furnished. We enjoyed chatting by the fire at night and drinking our coffee in the reading room with the big window in the morning. Time on the porch was nice, too. We had a few deer sightings. I canât wait to come back for a longer stay and hikes. The drives to Blowing Rock and Boone were easy and scenic.
The property was just as described and very clean. It was easy to drive to and from Blowing Rock and Boone (just know it will be very dark driving at night) and being so close to the Blue Ridge Parkway was a plus for us. The house was cozy and had multiple comfortable spots for relaxing, including a nice covered porch. We loved using the fireplace when it got chilly at night. Overall, highly recommend this place as a good base for exploring the area.
Justin's retreat was absolutely great! The sitting rooms and bedrooms were amazing, clean and simple, yet elegant with decor. The property itself was near the Blue Ridge Parkway and the surroundings were absolutely beautiful. Justin himself was a great host, we ended up needing to stay an additional night due to some car issues my in-laws had and he was incredibly accommodating. 10/10, would definitely stay here again in the future.
Fantastic location and so close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. All we could ask for and need in kitchen, bathrooms, ad living space. Super clean, spacious, convenient to town but not trapped in the midst of college move in week! Definitely want to book again!
We loved our stay here. It was one of the best short term rental experiences in a long time because it felt like a home, not a business, like rentals did when this all started. The location was fabulous between Boone and Blowing Rock. You felt far out of the way, but were just minutes to anything. We hiked Goshen River and it was nice. We will stay again any time we are back in town.
