Beautiful view of the river, hot tub on porch worked great - easy to use, good refrigerator, TV in living room and bedroom had Roku, free wifi, coffee maker working, loft difficult to access, beds uncomfortable (too firm), water smells bad, noisy neighbors
Good communication in advance. Cabin is steps away from the Linville River. Large field near cabin great for frisbee or playing catch with baseball gloves.
About 15 minutes from a decent-sized grocery store.
I spend 3 days with my family in the cabins. There is a beautiful river that cross the property as well. It was so much fun if you like the outdoors and like to get down with just exploring. đŻ coming back.
This was a great two days stay. The property was clean and quiet. It was right beside water. Communication was very well and timely. We loved our stay and we hope to come back in future.
Linville River Cabins are on a beautiful piece of land right next to the river. It is quiet and peaceful sitting on the porch, listening to the river and birds. Cottages are clean and cozy. I would stay here again.
Beautiful site. A great get away. Lots to do in the area. One could easily spend a week or more doing various activities as well as visiting the local businesses and being surrounded by all the natural beauty. There is a winery and a bakery nearby. The cabins are unique well built and very comfortable. You can really enjoy the natural setting right by the river. The host is great! He is very accommodating and accessible and knows you didnât come there to see him. We will be back again but for a longer stay next time.
Booked the cabin on Expedia, I chose pet friendly properties. On the way to the cabin we call ahead to let them know we will be late. My wife told them we had our dog and 2 kids with us. They charged us $95 for the dog being unauthorized, even though there was no spot for me to say I had a dog for me. They charged us another $40 for having kids with us. Which doesn't make sense, it's a 6 person cabin and it's not like they had to go out of their way to make accommodations for the kids. They also let us know that because we had a dog we weren't allowed to have blankets or bedsheets. When we arrived they actually took the blankets and bedsheets from the cabin. This also was not listed on the expedia page, middle of January in the North Carolina mountains in a SNOW STORM. Knowing we had kids with us they had their priorities. Throughout the trip, non stop text messages from the park manager who lived next door to the cabin inches away to the level of harassment. It was beyond annoying. Completely ruined this getaway. Every couple of hours another text message. Throughout the cabin it's filled with notes everywhere about all the didn't things they will charge your credit card for.
I loved everything about this place. Very clean and quiet. I went for my anniversary, it was very peaceful. No one bothered you, right next to the river. Loved the hot tub and fireplace. The owers don't bother you, they will text to check on you, and see if you need anything. Very beautiful area. I highly recommend this place if you need to get away from it all and just
I stayed here for one night after an App state game with my partner. We booked it specifically to warm up in a cozy cabin/hot tub. When we got there the hot tub was broken and the owner/manager failed to mention that it âbroke only a day ago.â After asking for a partial refund, they refused saying that they âshould have charged us a cleaning feeâ and that would make up for the broken hot tub. Overall my experience wasnât the worst here but it couldâve been a lot better. If I had previously known the hot tub wasnât working and of they agreed to a refund in some amount for false advertisement then this cabin would be worth staying at again.
