The room was excellent with a wonderful view across the Gironde. The area where the hotel is situated is a little run down but access to transport is convenient. staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was great; spacious comfortable and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good but over the period we stayed, the service and availability of items; juice and cold meats (for eg), became a problem. The location of the hotel was close to the river and public transport but it isn’t the nicest part of the city and walking through these areas in the evening isn’t the best

Ok … wouldn’t stay again.

Hotel is in good condition and is exceptionally clean. Pillows were awful! However, the area around the hotel is currently run down, undesirable and is in the process of being regenerated. It is a 40 min walk into the city centre and I would certainly not advise walking to the hotel after dark from the city centre. The tram is a 10 min walk, under an underpass in an undesirable area. The car park across the road is not well lit.

Clean/friendly/location ok/noise terrible

Enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Very clean and staff are friendly and helpful. Not the best of locations however. Bus and trams required for getting into the centre. Would not recommend walking back to the hotel late at night on your own. Also, night club next doors runs till 6am and the noise was terrible.

Hotel itself is great but the area around S Jean station is undergoing significant regeneration. There is a large construction site a few blocks away. Other buildings close by are disgusting. Earmarked for demolition, the lanes are full of rubbish and rats. Across the road, a food court and restaurants have closed because the development seems to be stalled. The area is quite safe day or night.

Lovely hotel and staff - breakfast disappointing for Euro 19 - very little fresh fruit and wasn’t topped up when empty and also had to wait for scrambled eggs - had to ask even though the bowl was empty and when I was filled up was used by 3 people and I had to ask again . Staff were lively and just a shame breakfast wasn’t better

We saw some abandoned building in nearby areas and homeless people. Staff at the front desk was very nice though, the hotel itself is new and very clean, it's just the environment not very comfortable.
