Friendly staff - hotel a little dated.

Stunning scenery and location. The hotel is a little dated and could do with some TLC. Overall, comfortable and adequate for a night stop. Very convenient for Stelvio pass.

OK hotel, but housekeeper is annoying

I stayed for two nights in June, 2017 while on a holiday to improve my cardio endurance. The hotel is in fairly good condition considering its age. The room was clean with no frills, and the bed was firm, but comfortable. During the summer there are hundreds of motorcycles outside, but the noise isn't bad, and they're gone at night. The windows had blackout curtains and shutters, and the shower had good pressure with plenty of hot water. There were only two power outlets in the room, and none by the small desk. Breakfast had a pretty good variety, but dinner is limited and somewhat unusual. The hotel has a very friendly cat that was curious without being bothersome. Some of the food wasn't the freshest, so inspect it carefully. Overall the food is just average, but there are other restaurants nearby. The owner was very nice and attentive and spoke several languages fluently. The housekeeper, however, was quite annoying. She disregarded the provided multi-language "Do Not Disturb" sign, unlocked my door, and walked into my room while I was relaxing after a workout. She also lived in a room a few doors down and she had the longest, and *LOUDEST* telephone conversations both evenings. Everyone in the corridor could hear every word of it, even with the doors closed. Had I known it was an employee sooner and not a guest, I would have discussed it with management prior to departing. I found it highly disruptive. I will try a different hotel if I return to the area.

Homely hotel

Nice friendly hotel. Nice room and comfy bed. Didn't have dinner in the hotel but enjoyed sitting by the fire with a hot chocolate after dinner Breakfast was lovely Nice stay and would def stay here again

Wonderful hotel

Great staff!!

You only go to this are for a few things. Skiing , cycling and amazing car drive thru the pass! We were delayed at the airport and did not arrive until midnight. The staff were fantastic! They stayed open waiting for us and even offered us coffee and a snack. We don't ski and don't have the energy to cycle. So you guessed it. We came to drive the pass!! The drive on the pass was amazing and this quaint hotel made the journey perfect for us! I would stay again anytime!!

Wenige Stunden nach meiner Buchung über expedia erhielt ich vom Hotel Genziana die Nachricht, daß das Hotel voll ist und ein Zimmer im benachbarten Hotel Passo Stelvio gebucht wurde.Diese Alternative aufgrund der Überbuchung hat ohne Probleme geklappt. Wir haben im Hotel Passo Stelvio zwar in einem sehr renovierungsbedürftigen Zimmer übernachtet, daß dafür aber einen grandiosen Ausblick auf den Ortler hatte. Zu Abend haben wir sehr gut im Hotel Genziana gegessen. Das Frühstück im Hotel Passo Stelvio war gut. Insgesamt war es trotz der Überbuchung eine gute Erfahrung am Stilfser Joch.

Ein sehr rustikal eingerichtetes Zimmer, aber sehr schön und gemütlich, Saubere Duschen, absolut sehr gutes Abendessen. Das Frühstück ist sehr übersichtlich, allerdings zu einem Preis, der es wieder wettmacht. Die Besitzer sind wiederum eine Schau. Lustig, zuvorkommend, freundlich und spontan. WIR können es nur weiterempfehlen
