This unit has no overnight parking at the property and it was not disclosed to us until we checked in the day of arrival. Closest parking was a public lot that was a 10 minute walk. Weather was in the 30s with freezing rain. We really feel like we were deceived. Owner could have arranged for an overnight parking permit. We will never rent from this host again.
We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the spaciousness of the skyrise. We loved the variety of great locally owned restaurants and shops in the neighborhood ((just head up Harvard and Washington streets). Note: Boylston is on a very busy street, and there is a lot of light coming in through the white mini blinds from buildings surrounding this one. So earplugs and a sleep mask are recommended if you have sensitivity to street noise or light.
This host does a really fine job of accurately describing the property and its setting. I appreciate this - and the place was cheerful, well maintained, and easy to find.
We took the train into Boston, and the station is a three minute walk from the property. Also great restaurants and coffee very nearby. Our first VRBO experience, and a wonderful example of quality and kindness.
We had a little family get together to go see some Red Sox games. This was a really nice space to do it - The whole family didnât stay, but the spacious living room dining room allowed the rest of the gang to come visit comfortably. To be fair, I am biased towards the Brookline location because I lived there, but it really is a great part of town with everything you need nearby and very easy to get to downtown
Stayed here with friends for a concert at Fenway. Although, the apartment is above a business and it doesnât have the best âcurb appealâ, it is very nice inside. The living/dining room is bright and couches are comfortable. The beds are comfortable as well. I stayed in the upstairs bedroom and did not hear street noise as warned in propertyâs description. My friends did on the first floor, however, earplugs were provided by host which was thoughtful. Overall, a nice place to stay!
We had a comfortable stay for 3 nights. Plenty of room for 5 adults to visit together & still have personal sleep space. Ulrich was responsive to our questions. Consider this property if you are looking for lodging in the Brookline area.
Stayed here over a long weekend with eight friends. Property was clean, easy to access, in a great location, and the property manager was responsive. Would highly recommend for any large group traveling to Boston, or a family looking for a place for potentially a longer stay.
Parking was a nightmare and the condo was super hot when we got there. The AC units were not keeping up. After a while, the place cooled down and was enjoyable. They had wine, chips and salsa and coffee pods ready to go. My only suggestion would be an advanced warning about the parking. The closest lot was Kent St, which is less than a half mile. Property host had great communication with us!!!
Spacious and modern stay, with easy walking access to the T
This was a beautiful home and great location for accessing the T and seeing Boston. The neighborhood was very safe and my family and I really enjoyed our stay! The walks to nearby shops and especially to a small grocery store were gorgeous.
Everything about this listing was accurate. Great location, very clean and light. Nice extra touches like coffee, a bottle of wine and chips and salsa for a very hungry group. Timely communications with host. Highly recommend. If I were to suggest a very small change, a new toaster would be great. ( Thatâs a pretty picky suggestion I admit)
You canât judge a book by its cover and thatâs what we found with this gem. The renovation, style, comfort were top. Clean, with owners who had great advice and were prepared for our questions.
Would stay here again.
Great property and proximity to downtown, Longwood and Coolidge corner! Loved the family room and dining room with plenty of room to visit and hang out.
We were visiting with family to attend a reunion at
Boston College, and this house was perfect in terms of size and location. We really appreciated the detailed information from owner as well. We had dinner both nights at the house, and it was very comfortable for a group of 8!
This rental property was perfect for our group. It was in nice condition, and it was located in a very nice community. There are a lot of great restaurants within walking distance, and you're also a short walk from the train. I would definitely stay here again!
The property and area were as described. Great local restaurants and bars. Easy walk to Fenway Park and quick Uber ride to downtown and the historic sites. Very comfortable home and well equipped. Met all of our expectations.
This property is the perfect choice if you plan on visiting Boston with a large group. The property management was very supportive and responsive. The property itself was very clean and accommodating.
Overall positive - terrific location, lots of beds and sleeping options. 2 bathrooms is the limiting factor on how many can stay in this unit. Stairs are quite steep so good to know that ahead of time. Space is clean and nice - but lacks charm. Needs a few lamps and a comfortable reading chair. Sofa and chair are modern but not good for sitting and reading or watching TV. Host was lovely - very hospital and responsive. Offers earplugs under the sink for street noise. Nice to have washer/dryer and detergent.
We were in town for Reunion weekend. We had small kids in tow (3 kids under 10). The location was convenient, quiet and the home was quite spacious. Great amenities for a family- including bunk beds, washer/ dryer and a handful of board games. Easy to Uber around Boston. Thankful for the guidance in advance regarding parking as that was a challenge and unit was hard to find for food delivery etc. Stairs up and down to get to front door- be prepared if traveling with someone that has mobility issues or a stroller.
Communication with our host was quick and seamless. Made a few suggestions post stay that will help the next visiting family. Host happily took feedback. Would return to this rental. Thank you!
We were in town for a conference in Boston and opted to stay in this wonderful home instead of booking a bunch of hotel rooms. We are so glad that we did! There was plenty of space for all of us and the living room was cozy. There were plenty of blankets, pillows, etc, and the beds were comfortable. It was also great having a laundry room. We thought the home was going to be on a quieter street near Emerson Garden, but it was right on busy route 9. Parking was tricky but the host gave great instructions on where to park. We were close to great restaurants and the T rail line, too. Thank you for a great stay!
