The service was great and the hotel is historic and in a great location BUT you can tell it’s old. It’s got an old, must/mildew smell, it’s creaky and outdated.

The rooms could use some updating, photos make them appear more recently renovated than they actually are. The front desk staff wasn't rude, but also not particularly welcoming. Valet parking is $65 per day. If I had planned ahead, I could have found a more affordable lot nearby.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was extremely convenient for our planned stops in Boston. The only thing lacking was limited outlets in the room. The room was charming and quaint!

Property was nice unfortunately our room was on the first floor off the lobby. Apparently there is a club in the basement. We were up until after 2 because it was so loud and floor was reverberating. Recommend upper level.
