Boston hotel made me feel unsafe.

Spent a couple nights on solo trip. Didn’t not feel hotel room was safe. I could see thru crack in my room door outside thinking someone could slip something in door and come in easily. Would not stay again in a place I felt unsafe.

Do not book this hotel

I booked a one bedroom suite at this hotel. They instead received the 3rd party reservation as king bed high floor. This was the smallest room I've ever seen (and I've stayed in NYC) and definitely NOT the suite I paid $500+ dollars for. They offered a rollaway and points for the trouble but could not honor the reservation as booked. We drove home. The overall hotel is old, all hightops in the lobby so not accessible. The elevator did not have keycard lockout so anyone could enter any floor. The staff were eh at best. Marriott should renovate asap. Better to book at Moxy nearby.

Great hotel in great location!!

The hotel was just lovely. Every member of staff we encountered were both pleasant and helpful. The room (with king bed) was a bit small but we only needed it to sleep, not hang out. The property was quiet despite being in the theatre district and busy. We walked from South Station through China Town to the hotel in about 15 minutes and there were loads of restaurants nearby to choose from for dinner. Location was perfect for our specific trip, being directly across from the theatre we went to. We had only two minor issues… 1. The AC in the room did not keep us quite cool enough overnight. It had been almost 100 degrees the day of arrival as well as the next day, so, a little give on our part is understandable. It is an old building after all. 2. We paid for breakfast at the time of booking, $26/pp. We weren’t disappointed by the food itself, and the coffee was nice however, we did not find the price worthwhile for what there was. My friend did appreciate the made-to-order omelet option. We were a bit taken aback when the bill came (for record keeping only) and it said $70, which is what we each paid for dinner, drinks and dessert the night before at another restaurant around the corner. Aside from those two things, I would both recommend this hotel and stay here again, no questions asked!!

The security guards were just talking about women like erotic novel narrators. Absolute degenerate creeps. I’m a grown man who is among the night life industry all across the country- as a career. I see my fair share of characters but these guys are absolutely predators. I would not want them working for me. I’m sure you can figure out who was working Friday night June 20th into Saturday morning the 21st. Disrespectful to guests and everybody walking by in between.

The location of the hotel was excellent! Right where we wanted to be, but the room was just Good - it could use some upgrades and attention to detail. If you are charging as much as you charge for a nights stay why is there no mini fridge or microwave? You have a microwave where the ice machine is - so the entire floor has to share a microwave down the hall? Very disappointing, as well as the toilet being shoved under a counter top that forces you to be bent over while using it. Not a fan of this at all. Overall we rate it a 4 out of 5 stars because the location was perfect and it was clean, but to be honest it's really only worth a 3.
