This property was really great. It was located in a historic townhome built in the late Victorian/early Edwardian period. Love the neighborhood. Really great pizza place down the street. The townhome looks and acts like it's age (house noises, etc) - I think it's part of it's charm. Most of the basic things were in the house; only thing I saw missing that made me go "hmmm" was no hot oven mitts or anything to take food out of a hot oven. The master bed was amazing and super comfortable. The second bed was definitely not as comfortable - hard - not bad; but not great either - just okay. Only one bathroom on the top floor. Cute and cozy shower with amazing water pressure. If we were coming back to Boston; we would request to stay again. Charming place.
Big problem communicating with the host. I was told this was one of 160 properties run by this company, and the host was communicating from out of the country. Very difficult to run a business like this. We were without hot water for nine days.Walk two blocks to my daughters to take a shower. Maintenance man walked in the unit and unannounced. This is unacceptable.Would not recommend to stay here.
