I booked a room with 1 King Bed and 1 Sofa at the Hilton Garden Inn Boston Burlington through Expedia. However, when I arrived to check in, the receptionist informed me that the room I booked was not available, and I was moved to a room with 2 Queen Beds instead. I raised the issue with the manager, but she said it was not the hotel’s responsibility because I booked through a third-party site.

The bathroom sink was filthy when we checked in. It was late, so I cleaned it. At 6 AM, filthy toilet water started loudly gurgling up in our sink, when the guest next door was using the bathroom. Staff insisted that maintenance could fix it, even though the smell was terrible. Only when maintenance dumped the toilet water all over the bathroom floor did the give us another room. We had to wait another day to talk to a manager, who insisted he couldn’t give us a refund, instead offering Hilton points for a fre stay sometime in the future. A very bad exp, and very unhelpful staff.

The Hilton Garden Inn Boston - Burlington is a great place to stay. The hotel hostess is very nice and provides helpful info about the restaurant and hotel. They provide convenient carts to bring your belongings to your room and have elevators to get you to the upper floors. The room was nice with VLP floor, a comfy chair, a nice desk, good mini microwave and fridge, a comfy bed, free HBO, and had free WiFi. The room and hotel is nice looking. The shower was big and water pressure was good. The grounds are nice and clean and you feel safe staying there. It is located across the Burlington mall a convenient place for restaurants and shopping. I highly recommend this hotel.

This was our third time staying at this Hilton, and we were not as happy as in the past. We started out with a TV issue. I asked the desk for help and was told the maintenance people just left. The next day I got a text from the desk asking how my stay was and I responded with the TV issue. I was told it would be fixed that day. It was not. I was offered a free breakfast for the inconvenience. No thank you. We were also told that the bar was open til 10. That was misinformation. Last call was at 9:30, so when we came to the lobby for a nightcap at 9:40, we were almost turned away. But the bartender was understanding and helped us out. I’m just disappointed at this trip.
